The Wapiti Lodge has great access to the East entrance to Yellowstone. The Lodge makes you feel like you are at home with comfortable rooms with lots of character and charm. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. We stayed in the Grant Suite and I appreciated the little kitchen and dining table. The only downside is with the area and...

Recently my parents, husband and I visited Wyoming. We stayed at the Wapiti Lodge in Wapiti, WY for the weekend. It was a great location, ~20 minutes west of Cody and ~35 minutes east of Yellowstone's east entrance. The lodge was in a fantastic location, beautiful scenery, yummy simple breakfast every morning. We even saw numerous wild animals in-between the...

I was not very happy with this lodge. I booked the Roosevelt room because it has three beds. The room was large and clean. What is not noted on the website is that this is a basement room. The website states that all suites have air conditioning but this one did not. Also omitted was the fact that this room...

This little gem was wonderful. We had just a day and a night there but had fun at the pond and wandering the grounds, visiting the horses, and then a delightful breakfast left on our door step in the morning. It was an excellent place to stay enroute to Jackson Hole. Comfortable and clean accommodations.

For my family and I, myself, wife, two kids, and mother in law we stayed in the Colter and had plenty of room. There was a lot of space for us and the accommodations were actually more than I expected. Yes the rate was very high, but it's simple supply and demand. Everything inside the park was booked and we...

If you wish to stay close to the east entrance of YNP and Shoshone Forest just outside this is a good location. We ended up doing more around Cody and it was too far for convenience and over-priced for the value received. We were disappointed overall by the accommodations....the Sportsmen Cabin was dark inside with tired interior furnishings, and full...
