My daughter and I were traveling to the Teton Village/Jackson Hole area to run our first half marathon. Its a gorgeous area, and the hotels are rather pricey, but we were lucky enough to find The Hostel. Your room is very basic, no TV, very basic shower/bathroom, which is very accurately advertised, but you can not go wrong with booking...

Place has an interesting, relaxed, and comfortable vibe. Definitely awesome to find a place for so cheap in that area, but let's be honest the room was fairly budget--although very clean. Could hear everything from the room next door. At one point I was half asleep and thought someone was opening my door when actually it was the room next...

Thanks for the feedback on your stay at the Hostel. We are indeed basic accommodations - no TVs, fridges or AC in the rooms - but you do have your own bathroom with shower. And, we keep the rooms, updated in 2011, as clean as possible, with daily housekeeping service. The Hostel is an older wooden building, so creakier than...

We just needed a place to lay our heads and shower on our way home from Yellowstone. This place fit the bill!! No frills, very bare bones but perfect for our needs! Would make a great ski flop, hooks on the walls for your gear, dryers for your boots, a hot chocolate machine, everythjng a skier could want! The lower...

Thanks for the review. You understand what we are going for here at the Hostel! I would like to point out that while we do not have a hot chocolate machine, we do provide chocolate mix to make a Hostel mocha at our lobby coffee station. Also, we provide ski racks for our guests' use during the ski season, but...

Great ambience for the location, the location was a little out of the way if you're not planning to ski (I was just a road tripper passing through), but the area was very peaceful and the sunset is awesome. Real close to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Overall, very happy with this place.

Hostel is for that area an inexpensive clean place. No tv in rooms and there spartan but clean and there is a common room. No Breakfast but always tea coffee and hot chocolate available. Area is beautifull.

The Hostel is by far the cheapest option in Teton Village, and you get exactly what you pay for. It was loud at night, very rustic and bare bones. That being said, you know what you're signing up for by staying at a hostel. Bring ear plugs and enjoy the vibe. The common areas are super relaxed and lots of...

Let me start off with the negatives - you pay for what you get. The rooms are sub-par and the facilities are exactly the best. But as the name goes, it is a hostel so don't expect anything more. The good: the location. The Hostel is literally situated at the bottom of the resort allowing you to literally ski/snowboard right...

The Hostel is the place to stay for the best value. We got the private room with king bed and bathroom. The room was very clean, the mattress comfortable, clean sheets, towels, extra blankets. Keep in mind the room is bare bones, no chest of drawers or closet, no TV, no telephone, no coffee maker. Just some pegs on the...

The Hostel was great. Authentic, basic and simple. And that's all you need for the authentic ski total Jackson Hole Experience. I participated in the Steep and Deep course and there were many others in the course staying at the Hostel. People friendly, knowledgable. I had a single room. Clean, functional, and comfortable. Located 3 minute walk from Tram. Everything...

I've stayed at The Hostel several times over the last few years, during both the summer and the winter. I've yet to have a bad experience. The staff is always very friendly, the rooms have always been very clean, and the mood is always very relaxed. The location is also one of the best in Teton Village. You're within steps...
