The couple who own and run this motel are friendly, considerate, helpful and part of the local culture. They will help and support and go out of their way to assist with the simplest of things. The accommodation is simple and clean, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are functional. I arrived on an extended cycling trip and needed...

We had an accident on Wyoming Highway 14 on our way to Yellowstone. We were put on an ambulance as the car was undriveable. The ambulance people took us to Lovell after checking us and arranged for us to stay at the HorseShoe bend Motel. We got there like about 10 PM or later. I cannot tell you how warmly...

Lovely people own and operate. Rooms are updated and spotless. Frig and Microwave were a bonus for staying several days in one spot. Very convenient to all kinds of day trip exploring. The owners allowed us to take local history books to our room, and they also gave excellent suggestions for dining and off the beaten trail sightseeing.

Stayed here for one night. Management seemed fine when I checked in. I had had reservations for months. I didn't expect much, but just as long as the room was clean and the bed satisfactory. Room 20 was large with old, cheap furniture. I just wanted to get sleep. The dark carpeting hid a lot until you really looked. The...

Stayed one night in Lovell. I was in the area for four days. I didn't expect alot. Walked in to a very used room. All the furniture was very old and outdated. I was prepared to overlook just about everything just as long as it was clean and I could get some sleep. Not the cleanest, but the bed was...

The proprietors are friendly as other reviews have pointed out. That's the best thing I can say about this hotel. The room had very broken down beds that sagged to the middle. I don't have back problems but I woke up feeling crippled. The pillows are even worse. They are old and compacted, undersized and flattened to the point of...

We spent 2 very uncomfortable nights trying to sleep in broken down beds. The owner said they were replacing the beds as they could. Then why didn't they give us on with new bed, since they had plenty of rooms when we che ked in. But no, they put us in the furthest away, with trash and tumbleweeds in front...

The cross-country cycling group I was with booked most of this motel. It is quaint, rooms small but clean and the owners very nice and we got to pick fresh produce out their garden! A nice sitting area under a big shade tree gave us a place for the group to unwind after our typical 100+ mile ride. If you...

The owner, Jo, and her husband as quite nice people, but hubby is not too excited about tending to small details that need his attention. The remote only turned on in my room but you could not change channels or adjust volume The remote in my travel buddy's room would only turn on and he had 3 channels. When he...
