The hotel is nice looking and we loved the tub, but it's on a busy street and trucks started rolling by as early as 5 am. We had a late night and are from another time zone so we weren't happy about getting woke up at least 8 times that morning. While the hotel cannot control the trucks outside, they can control knocking on guest's doors repeatedly in the morning. They even came into our room uninvited at 9:30 am because we didn't answer the door - sadly my wife had just gotten out of the shower and was faced with a maid and a maintenance guy. It was totally inappropriate, embarrassing, and ruined our morning. When we reported the incident we were blamed for not putting a 'do not disturb sign on the door'. Check out wasn't until 11 so I feel like they owe us an apology for the invasion of privacy.…
Perfect accommodations. Good location and easy walk to town. Clean. Comfortable. Parking was convenient. Met expectations as advertised. Wish we had stayed here again on our trip back from Yellowstone.
For a hotel experience that doesn't break the bank like Hotel Jackson, White Buffalo might be your place. Just a few blocks west of the town square, at the base of East Gros Ventre Butte, the location is just about perfect. Staying close to the town square is definitely worth the price for the luxury of walking to dinner, local shopping, and sights. The suite was a reasonable size with necessary amenities. One important note is that the balcony is shared with the adjacent suite, but only truly has furniture and space for a couple. This wasn't a problem for our trip, but could be for yours. Understandably, in COVID times, the breakfast isn't what one would hope for. This isn't the fault of the hotel. Breakfast consisted of a ziplock bag, delivered to your door, with: cereal (variety), a pint of milk, a packaged muffin, Chobani Greek Yogurt, a package of oatmeal, an apple, an orange, and a package of orange juice. While not a nice, hot meal, it was enough to start our day. Of note, we were asked our preferred delivery time for breakfast, and it was consistently 30-60 minutes late. Keurigs are available in the room, but require going to the front counter for a resupply essentially daily. There also was unfortunately no room service at all during the trip, due to COVID. We did not have any issues with customer service, as previous guests mentioned. Check in was smooth, though early check in was not available. The counter attendants helped with anything needed. Overall, this is a nicely located hotel for the price (compared to the area).…
We stayed here for one night on a recent road trip from Yellowstone to Colorado. Very disappointing... First, the good: awesome rooms, super high quality, laundry in room, very comfortable a d spacious. Free in garage parking with overflow outside. The bad: the staff, all the way around. The guy at the front desk could not (or would not) speak English. Told us we couldn't have a drink at the on-site bar. The next morning we wanted to use the free bikes they have to explore Jackson, but the front desk person "didn't show up for work that morning" according to the kitchen staff. So there just wasn't anyone there. So we paid for rental bikes from the city. Other notes, there was never a concierge on site as advertised. The restaurant and bar are basically made up, they're just tables in the basement... One other nice positive, very nice workout equipment and facility in the basement. Fat superior to normal hotel.…
The property is nice and has great location. We stayed in one of the condos WBC manages on the other side of town from main hotel. They don't manage it very well. Communications were less than acceptable. Had a wedding party next to us going full blast at 1:30 AM. Called the front desk. Nothing. They did call at 3 PM the next day and apologized profusely. We had several questions throughout our stay. They didn't know the answer and did not offer to find out and call back. We asked three times where the trashcan outside the condo was located. Still don't know......While our issues were not earth shattering we paid a significant amount to stay at a property where we expect the service to match the price. Given the challenges with COVID (and operating hotels/restaurants) we want and tried to have grace and patience. However, the basics of communications and follow up are currently missing.…
