We were traveling through/over the mountains into WY on our bus tour and stopped here for a rest stop. Rodger, our guide, had called ahead, and the staff had laid out a spread of coffee/tea with cake/pie that was hot and delicious! The scenery was just beautiful, and I left my hat there!! My new Grand Tetons hat!! On the...

This is a lodge in a remote location, do not expect cell service or reliable wifi. you will have to put your phone down for a few days(gasp). The lack of water pressure on the second floor rooms is unacceptable. Also, defaulting the hot tub to 98 degrees is brutal. Climate control in the rooms is also sub par.

The Elk View Inn advertises "free high speed internet". Be aware - there in NO internet here and no cell service. We booked a room for 2 nights on our way through the Bighorns, but also had some e-mails and work to do. When we said we would be checking out after one night, they said no problem, our 2nd...

This was a great place to completely disconnect and get away. Beautiful scenery, deluxe accommodations, very friendly and informative staff. Glad we stopped in Sheridan to grab some munchies for in the room. Never saw anyone in the restaurant but the guy at the front desk suggested a drive south on 14 to Greybull and dinner at Lisa's. GREAT advice!...

We traveled here for our neices wedding and ended up making some pretty awesome friends. This place does not have cell coverage- what it does have is a beautiful out of the way retreat and if you just talk to the staff and enjoy what is right in front of you....you willl be so relaxed. I really can not stress...

Great hotel, comfy bed, pleasant staff, great ribs and good breakfast, nice pool and hot tub. So isolated the night sky was fantastic. Would highly recommend this hotel, situated in a beautiful area and a fantastic drive up to it.

I admit to being very sceptical about this place due to the reviews on here. So, to be pleasantly surprised is an understatement! From check in to check out our stay was just great. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was the best we've had on this road trip and the coffee in the room was really nice...

We stopped here for a bathroom break and to get ice cream and yes we we're unannounced, but the staff was rude and though they did end selling us lots of ice cream sandwiches, they had no ice cream and were not accomading at all!

this establishment is owned by the same individuals that own the bear lodge down the highway and the recently sold arrowhead. the bar area and reception of the elk view was nice, almost the opposite in it's appearance to the bear lodge since it was bright and airy, still the smell of stale smoke throughout. other than a group of...

Terrible! Don't waste your money. Stay at any other lodge than this one. Very poor conditions. No ice, no hot water, most items broken, no wifi, waited forever for service. Items were dated. The restaurant is very good but don't stay the night in the lodge.

Thank Bev A
