We stayed at the Shoshone Lodge for one night recently. A friend recommended this place, but she'd been there many years before. The cabin was nice enough and clean but rather small. If you like wood, you'll love this place. They have wifi, but it works only in the lodge, not in the cabins further away. The lodge offers food...

For the past few years, I have stayed at the Shoshone Lodge near the east entrance to Yellowstone Park. Mike and the staff have made each stay enjoyable for myself, my children and my grandchildren. This year we stayed in the biggest cabin available (two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, TV for the Olympics, living area, etc.). While my family...

We recently made a trip to Yellowstone Park. When looking for lodging I found anything close to old Faithful was expensive. We opted to stay just outside the park at the East Entrance so we would be able to drive through the park and see the sites. We choose the Shoshone Lodge because of the cabins, the look and the...

We loved our rustic cabin and the rocking chairs on the front porch where we could relax after an exhausting day in Yellowstone. It isn't far from the Eastern Entrance to Yellowstone and it is a very scenic drive. We saw mule deer and moose on our morning rides to the park. The cabin doesn't have a tv or phone...

This place was everything we had hoped for and more. We knew we were in for a long haul to most of the attractions at Yellowstone staying here, but the extra miles were worth it! We stayed in Camp Jonathan (#17) which was perfect for the three of us. The shower was a bit small, but that is the only...

We arrived late in the evening after driving all day from Mt. Rushmore, staff was friendly. It wasn't a huge deal that we discovered there was no TV, since all we wanted to do was go to sleep. However, after getting ready for bed, we pulled open the couch only to find there was hardly any padding to the mattress...

The Lodge is real close to the enterence to Yellowstone. Although its still an hour away from Old Faitful. In all my years of hering about Yellowstone I never grasped the size of the park. Shoshone Lodge is by far the best option if you goto Yellowstone. While all over Yellowstone we check out the options inside the park to...

Everyone we encountered was quite friendly. They and smores and a campfire everynight and a sky full of stars to enjoy. It was a...

Spent two nights at the lodge with our daughter and grandson. It more than met our needs. The entire staff was great, the cabins were very clean and adequate for our needs. Wi-fi was intermittent, but wasn't a big deal for us. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go on a horseback ride, but other guests raved about them. We ate...
