The cabin we stayed in was very nice and clean. The rustlers roost was a two bedroom with 3 beds and 1 bathroom. With it being so cool in the evenings it would have been nice to have a bigger front porch so we could sit out there and enjoy the weather and listen to the creek. Or atleast have two...

The lodge is 12 miles from Yellowstone's east gate and in the lovely Shoshone Valley. Rooms are in quaint old log cabins; our king bed room was in a duplex cabin. The restaurant serves good food in huge portions at reasonable prices. No alcohol is sold but you can bring your own. The restaurant is open from 7-9:30 a.m. for...

We stayed here as our base for travelling throughout Yellowstone. We were very happy with our stay and I would stay here again. We stayed in Bison Range (or #2) and it was spacious enough for our family of 6 (4 kids and 2 adults). Pros: *Beautiful canyon setting with rushing creek - climbed the canyon walls to get to...

Brought my granddaughter on her first adventure trip to Yellowstone National Park. I found absaroka lodge to be the most convenient place outside the park. I am so glad I booked there. The whole staff are so friendly and helpful. There is a small restaurant in the lodge that serves breakfast and dinner. Can't say enough about the food, it...

Very cool lodge in the Shoshone Forest. We stayed in one of their cabins. One night we heard noise coming from the walls and woke up in a panic. Turns out a family of raccoons made a home under our cabin. My husband and I thought it was the funniest thing because for a minute we thought bear were trying...

We were unable to get accommodations in the Park, so we stayed here. There were two couples.....we had a double cabin (separate entrances)....the room was clean..not roomy, but we did not expect a Marriott. The shower was very small, but the cabins are older and I suspect the shower was added at sometime...the water was just great, however. I noted...

We left it too late to stay at the lodging inside Yellowstone, so Absaroka was my next best choice, located minutes from the East entrance of Yellowstone. This place was like no other we had stayed at before and we were all excited. On arrival we were dumbstruck by the tranquility and beauty of the place. We had a double...

We have stayed here several times over many years. It is located close to the East entrance of Yellowstone. The cabins are in need of some maintenance and a bit of a refresh. The lodge is rustic but comfortable. The food is great with big portions. The cabins are located close to a pretty steam. The rate is a little...

We booked this cabin for a very last minute overnight stay near Yellowstone. We were fortunate to find a vacant cabin here that was just right for our needs. The online reservation and confirmation process was easy and quick. I appreciated the follow-up email communication from the lodge too. At check-in we were met with a friendly face and a...

The lodge and cabins are all set back in a valley of sorts between two buttes across the road from a river. The cabins are nice and neat, but the shower in our cabins was TINY. The shower being TINY is m!y only complaint about our whole stay! The staff all seemed to be friendly and the food in the...
