I have never rated anything 5* until today. This is the greatest family experience of all stays anywhere. NOTE: This will not be the same for everyone. It is not a hotel like any other. This is a place that you become part of the family that owns and operates the hotel. That said, you have to help your self,...

We loved this motel! It was cute, very clean, the staff was very helpful in helping us get rodeo tickets and dinner plans made. The pool is in the parking lot which was really kinda fun and the room was huge! We stayed in the upper level which was a newly remodeled portion of the facility, very comfortable.

Other than the fact that our room smelled like cheese balls, it was a great location and the staff was friendly. We felt like Big Bear was the best value for our stay. Next time we hope to stay longer in Cody!!

We made an unplanned detour in our trip and showed up in Cody. We went to the visitors center and asked what to do and where to stay. We ended up at the big bear motel. It doesn't have a pretty ambiance, more of the kitschy appearance, in a good way. Several photo ops with the animal statuary on site...

Stopped in Cody on way to Yellowstone. After driving past the brand new Super 8 (which I would usually not consider) and seeing the Big Bear Motel, we almost turned around --- afraid it would be the typical low-budget motel. However, it was just fine. We were in a newly built section with a spacious 2-Q room with room for...

Big Bear Motel? LOVED IT! It may only rate as a 2 star, but, it was a great find in Cody, Wyoming. The room was very clean and comfortable and had nice touches like hand-hewn wood trim and wood towel bars, hooks, etc. It also had a great outdoor pool and was very refreshing when the mercury reached 96F. This place was our most memorable hotel on our trip to Yellowstone. It is clean, quiet, and a great place for kids. We did indeed get a free pony ride for my younger daughter and a couple of riding lessons for my two older daughters. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make...

My wife and I stayed in a king room on the ground floor for one night. The room was quiet. We did not hear the occupants next door or above us. The room had a microwave and mini-refrigerator. There is a standard motel through the wall HVAC unit that operated well and fairly quiet. It appeared that the room had...

Clean, good place to sleep. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good recommendations from them on what to see and where to go in Yellowstone. If you're looking for a good sleep and don't need a lot of "frills", this is a good choice. I think you'll find this place very family friendly as well. Very close to Yellowstone, so it was...
