The Big Bear if very accommodating and has made us feel very welcome. Jody and her husband do a great job of keeping the place clean, open, and friendly. Love the western log feel in the rooms and the open feeling of the rooms opening into a community court yard. Always very accommodating to myself and family!

This is a great family run and operated motel. You save a good bit of money staying here versus other places in town. The owner was very warm and friendly when we checked in. The buildings are a little old but very well kept. This is a great, simple place to stay! Make sure you visit the horses around back...

Huge rooms and very nice front desk staff, all family I believe. Jody is an owner and is super nice and gave us a great rate. Make sure you walk behind the hotel to the stables and greet the horses and go even further to the edge of the cliff and check out the fantastic view of the river. I...

We just love our location as do many guests. This one of the main reasons for our purchase of this great spot not down town but in the city limits and walk to rodeo/dinner Bill

I stayed here with my husband and two small children- It is just a basic room- no fridge or microwave- but the beds were really comfortable. We stayed on the top floor and had a great view of the sunset. The playground was fun- we never made it to the pool. Great location- just on the western edge of town...

We stayed here for 2 nights, rooms were clean and big. We stayed in both the sections of the hotel and would recommend both. Pool was awesome and perfect on a hot day. They also have a small playground. They have a laundry area for a reasonable fee $4 a load including soap. Owners were very nice and friendly. We...

There are several things that make up a great motel/stay just the feel once you step on to our place I feel welcome and home as do our travelers, the guests are to thank for a large part of this as many visit the horses and enjoy them as well thanks Bill and Jody

I have never rated anything 5* until today. This is the greatest family experience of all stays anywhere. NOTE: This will not be the same for everyone. It is not a hotel like any other. This is a place that you become part of the family that owns and operates the hotel. That said, you have to help your self,...

We loved this motel! It was cute, very clean, the staff was very helpful in helping us get rodeo tickets and dinner plans made. The pool is in the parking lot which was really kinda fun and the room was huge! We stayed in the upper level which was a newly remodeled portion of the facility, very comfortable.

Other than the fact that our room smelled like cheese balls, it was a great location and the staff was friendly. We felt like Big Bear was the best value for our stay. Next time we hope to stay longer in Cody!!

We made an unplanned detour in our trip and showed up in Cody. We went to the visitors center and asked what to do and where to stay. We ended up at the big bear motel. It doesn't have a pretty ambiance, more of the kitschy appearance, in a good way. Several photo ops with the animal statuary on site...
