We found The Springdale Inn on line and it more than lived up to our expectations. It is certainly remotely located but that is what gives it the charm. The rooms were very nicely done and ours overlooked the 90+ acres of prairie land so waking up to that sight was perfect. Nancy is such a warm host and so...

Owner, Nancy, has truly found her calling. The inn is a relaxing, cozy retreat. Comfy bed, gorgeous views, lovely outdoor seating areas. Breakfast was delicious. It was wonderful to linger over breakfast with other guests. Everyone was friendly and interesting. Guests share local discoveries, too.

I had a great time with my boyfriend staying at the Springdale Inn with Nancy hosting! She cooked us breakfast, we hiked the trails, and it's a world away from the city, very sweet and relaxing. We recommend going when the weather is nice so you can hike the trails, but Nancy cooks organic breakfasts, the rooms are large and...

My husband and I stayed at Springdale on our wedding night -- we had a fantastic stay! The room was very comfortable and relaxing, and Nancy and Ali were so kind and served us a delicious homemade breakfast on the porch! We also greatly enjoyed walking around the oak savanna in the morning and seeing all the pretty bluebirds and...

What a glorious bed and breakfast! Just driving up the winding driveway I immediately felt the stress leaving my body. The inn is just gorgeous and welcoming. The view is amazing and the property is spectacular. You have to just experience the peace and serenity for yourself. Nancy is gentle yet engaging. She lead us thru a yoga and meditation...

I arranged for my daughter and son-in-law to stay at the Springdale Inn for their wedding night. All the rooms were already reserved but with a stroke of luck, One room became available and Nancy contacted me quickly. We needed a place to stay for a wedding on a super busy weekend in Madison. What wonderful luck! This beautifully decorated modern farmhouse was perched on the top of a hill overlooking miles of farms and forest. Breathtaking! Our beautiful, luxurious room rivaled the best hotel rooms. This place is also a very tidy hobby farm with walking trails,...

We had a fabulous time. We rented out the entire inn. Our innkeeper could not have been more accommodating and the staff top notch. The Inn is beautiful and very well kept. Very homey. Our weekend was filled with a lot of laughs and we are already talking about going back.
