We stayed in the Flo room. The house is old but well maintained and modernized. The owners are gracious and will do what is needed to make your stay comfortable. It is in close distance to Stevens Point Brewery and Sunset Point Winery which located downtown. Highly recommend staying here.

We arranged a three day bicycling excursion for 5 couples in the Stevens Point area. First we visited Dreams of Yesteryear in February on a "scouting mission" and found it to be an excellent B&B with just the right location from which to ride with good dining opportunities in walking distance. We found Bonnie to be a lovely and fun... More

We spent two nights here on a weekend. The house and garden is beautifully restored and has an interesting history that is well documented in a notebook by the owners. The collection of antiques is fascinating. Breakfast was delicious and the owners are friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The inn is within walking distance of several good restaurants. We... I surprised my girlfriend with a trip to her college town; Stevens Point. I didn't want a typical hotel, so I looked up a bed and breakfast (and I'm glad I did). The 100 year old Victorian home is huge without losing the cozy feeling. There were plenty of rooms to relax in and it is located within walking distance... More

My daughter and I traveled to Steven's Point for an Admitted Student Day at UW-SP. We chose the Gareld's Room because it offered two twin beds - perfect for mother and daughter! We were greeted, warmly, by Bonnie who made a wonderful recommendation for a nearby restaurant for dinner. Our room was perfectly decorated and we slept well in the... More

This B&B is a beautifully redone large Victorian home. Very clean and lots of antiques and collections to look at. Great attention to details for guests, right down to plush towels and soft toilet paper. The breakfasts were wonderful with the main course being Stuffed French Toast one morning and Egg Burritos the next morning. The hosts/owners were pleasant and... More

Just wanted to thank you for your sparkling review. It was great fun chatting with you and getting to know you. Bill and I are looking forward to having you visit again in the summer. And, Betty, I'll never look at toilet paper the same. :) Love that you notice things like that. Thank you for taking time to write... More

We were here to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. We were warmly greeted by the hostess/owner upon arrival, then she asked us if we were on a schedule. We said no, since we were looking forward to relaxing and not having to be "scheduled" after the very busy Thanksgiving holiday. We were then asked if it was okay that breakfast... More

Just wanted to say I'm sorry your stay was not enjoyable. That certainly is never our intention at Dreams of Yesteryear. We enjoy our guests and love sharing our historic home. I should explain that this particular Thanksgiving weekend we probably should not have taken guests. This was our first Thanksgiving without my mother who had recently passed away and... More

An absolute gem! Bonnie is a superb hostess, cook, and genuinely warm person. She and Bill have a beautifully decorated mansion on a quiet street with all the amenities. “Bed and Breakfast Inns are meant to be a special get away from it all experience in a non-cookie cutter kind of way. Think of the basic needs you enjoy at home...not necessarily things like spas, exercise rooms, microwaves, etc...you are in a home, meeting lovely people, tasting delicious food and being pampered to whatever degree you request. Many B & B's offer special services such as champagne and candy, or massages, etc...ask the Innkeeper if they offer those kind of options. Try the B & B experience once or twice...you'll be hooked!”
