I was very happy with our suite. Two bedrooms. Clean. Right on golf course. Quiet. It is in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright so looks a little dated. But very nice. Pool was great! One night stay plus 2 tickets to House on the Rock for $145.

I "burned out" somewhere between the "obsessive room" and the "compulsive room". You really have to see this place and I am glad I did. It would take about two hours to walk through with minimal stopping. I took nearly four hours. If you have no interest in mechanical music and no interest in history or antiques, then you should...

We stayed at this resort before going to The House on the Rock attraction. The setting is on a beautiful golf course surrounded by rolling hills. The lodge appearance was like walking into the 1960's! A little outdated but very well kept. Our room was a spacious 2 room suite but with low ceilings and once again the feel of...

This resort is situated in such a beautiful southern Wisconsin setting with excellent views of the golf course and very spacious rooms. The only issue is that the hotel rooms are in dire need of a facelift. They are so dated and not overly comfortable that it really detracts from what they have there. There is so much potential, they...

I actually really enjoyed this hotel they were very accommodating. My boyfriend and I stayed here for an over night getaway to visit The House On the Rock. We ended up coming in early on a Saturday morning which worked out perfect even though the check in wasn't until 3PM. We did a package deal where the tickets to the...

Decided to stay the night with my husband while we had plans to go to house on the rock the following day. We checked in and we set out Le bags down, then we were headed out to get some food and shop in neighboring towns. I didn't get to really check the room out because we were in a...

While the resort seemed dated, it also had the designs inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright which made the place unique and interesting. Not your average chain hotel which I found endearing. It was quiet and peaceful and we were able to see several deer grazing in the golf course nearby. There's also a bar and restaurant on site so we...

Bought a "stay and tour" package in mid February. Room was very clean and spacious with some extra perks like a jetted bathtub! Looked like it may have had a kitchenette at one point. A fridge, microwave and coffeepot were still in the room and all we needed. Comfortable bed. Great view outside but it was a little chilly to...

This hotel offers a package deal with your room that includes admission to the House on the Rock attraction(which is very close drive.) It's situated into three different sections. Most of the amenities(pool, exercise, etc) are located in the first/main section. They placed us in the third section. If you have any mobility issues avoid the 2nd Section - there...
