I found the Grand Lodge Waterpark Resort as I was searching for places in Wisconsin for a mini getaway with my husband. It was advertised on some travel websites as a great place for a couples getaway in addition to their more popular crowd of...More
Overall it was a good experience with the hotel itself. We stayed in an expanded queen room with a fireplace, which was very spacious. The sofa bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable and I wouldn't have put two people on it, but the main beds...More
Had a swimming party for my Grandson at the Grand Lodge indoor waterpark. The facilities are great, the service was top notch, and he really had fun. I have never stayed at the hotel location but I have had family and friends that have and...More

If you are comparing the Grand Lodge to the big waterpark hotels in the Dells - no. If you are looking for low key fun, an off-season getaway - yes. My son is 8 and he loved the slides, basketball in the pool, lilypads, water playground. For one or two days, there is enough to do but not like the Kalahari, Great Wolf, Wilderness, etc. The rooms were super spacious which is great when travelling with kids.
