We second all that has been said about the hospitality, excellent breakfasts, extra touches (wine/champagne, chocolates, coffee, popcorn, granola bars and even fresh scones before breakfast on our second day!). I'm not sure who enjoyed playing "fetch" more...Boris or my husband ;) We did day trips to Stillwater and Hudson, both quick and easy drives from here, but our nights... More

We stayed in the Tranquil Hideaway which had plenty of room and a small window to look out at the Valley. The breakfast was outstanding and Sue & Greg are accommodating of your every need. Perfect for anyone that wants to get away from the rush and enjoy a tranquil time.

We spent a weekend in the Valley View Room. As everyone else has said, it was just great. Nice view, comfy bed, and attractive decorations and furnishings. Sharing the bathroom wasn't too bad because we only had to do it for the second night. Sue and Greg are very good hosts and make you feel right at home. The breakfasts... More

I have nothing but great things to say about our experience at Country View Estates B&B. From the moment we arrived until our departure two days later, we felt like we were completely at home. The home is very attractively decorated and totally welcoming. The amenities left nothing to be desired, including great coffee and snacks available throughout the day... More

We have stayed in this B&B several times. It is close to the twin cities. I could not believe we could travel a short time and feel we were way out in the country. As they say they are pet friendly but they understand that everyone is not. They respect their customers and make sure you are comfortable. The rooms... More

This was a wonderful honeymoon for us. Sue and Greg were great hosts and the house is beautiful with gorgeous views. The rooms were very nice, we stayed in the Valley View Room, but after seeing all of them, they would all be great for a weekend stay. We will definitely come back for a weekend getaway in the future!

This is an amazing B&B close to Hudson and Stillwater. We stayed for 1 night in the cozy retreat room and we loved it so much we just had to go back. The house is huge and the views are amazing. Last weekend we stayed in the HUGE Serendipity Suite and it was amazing. Best parts: Very high end bedding... More

Thank you very much, your kind words mean a lot. From the beginning our goal was to create a space where people could disconnect from their busy lives, relax and hopefully want to return. We are glad you enjoyed your second stay with us and hope we can meet again when you need another break. Sue & Greg More

We had a lovely weekend at Sue and Greg's home in Roberts, WI, which is a great base for a drive along the St. Croix. We stayed in the spacious Serendipity suite and enjoyed the cheese plate, chocolate, coffee, tea and not one but three bottles of wine provided for us. While lounging around the house, I enjoyed spending time... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway, and we're so glad we did! The house and grounds are lovely, and Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts. This is a very pet-friendly B&B; we brought our dog, and he was treated as as much of a guest as we were! We stayed in the Valley view room, which... More

Where do I begin? We enjoy this little gem! As you drive toward the estate on the curved drive, it's hard to believe that the inn is so close to the Twin Cities. Horses meander in their pasture and the inn's warmth and beauty beckon you to come in. This is a pet-friendly bed and breakfast and our dogs are... More

“You can't go wrong in any of the rooms. We stayed in the Valley View Room and enjoyed the nice view of the valley seated at the window table. Next time we intend to enjoy the huge jacuzzi in the Tranquil Hideaway.”

“The Cozy Retreat and the Valley View share a bathroom. The Cozy Retreat is great if you want to sleep in in the morning (awesome bed and dark curtains) You must be ok with pets (dogs, cats, birds are all in the house) - but not in your rooms. I will be posting lots of pictures for your review”

“For a true romantic getaway, stay in the Tranquil Hideaway room. You get the same view as the Valley View room over breakfast, and a private bathroom with whirlpool tub! We loved the Valley View, but I think we'd upgrade to the Tranquil Hideaway were we to visit again. :)”

“They offer a few types of rooms on their second floor - the hideaway has a bathroom and is most expensive, the cozy retreat is very small and valley view that is in the front of the house with a view. Valley View and Cozy Retreat share a bathroom in the hallway. Make sure you don't have any pet allergies as this is a pet friendly place with Fish, birds, cats, and dogs and other farm animals are outside!”
