Port Washington Inn is the most pleasant and comfortable place I have stayed in. The room we stayed in was Graces Suite. This suite was roomy and comfortable. With a balcony with views of the lake and Pier light. Walking distance to town. The view was spectacular. Breakfast was delicious and our Hosts Dave and Rita were wonderful. We will...

As we begin our 21st season as innkeepers, we would like to thank the thousands of guests who have chosen to stay at Port Washington Inn over the past twenty years. The dialogues we've had have helped us to hone our innkeeping skills; feedback is valuable! Change is inevitably ongoing, and we all do our best to keep abreast of...

We stayed at the Port Washington Inn recently to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary - it had been recommended by my sister. What a beautiful inn, with such warm and welcoming hosts! Rita welcomed us as we arrived a little bit before 3:00 PM. Complimentary parking just behind the inn made it easy for us to enter and climb the...

We were only able to stay one night, but we certainly found our new "home base" for vacations mid-way along the coast of Lake Michigan. This turn-of-the-century home has been modernized without any loss of it's turn-of-the-century charm. Quiet. Relaxing. Comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we felt pampered. An evening out around town, a great night's sleep, and then...

We are grateful for each of our guests and grateful to each guest who goes out of his/her way to post a review. As we complete our twentieth year as owners/keepers of the inn, we look back with thanksgiving and forward with eagerness. It is fun nowadays to have the luxury to simply finesse the inn after years of major...

Wonderful hosts are very knowledgeable and know how to run a B@B. They do it right, especially at Breakfast. Only three blocks from the Ozaukee Interurban Bike trail which makes it a perfect location for serious bikers. We rode the paved trail to Cedarburg and enjoyed the weekend!!

Six night stay. Fantastic experience; great location; great get-away lodging. We wanted a place that was quiet but close to town and we got exactly what we hoped for. Rita and Dave were the perfect hosts and breakfasts were terrific. We were in the Dorothy Room but all queen bed room were lovely.

Thank you, Robin, first for choosing Port Washington Inn for your trip to our area, secondly for the kind words you have shared about your experience of your time at Port Washington Inn. For some, Robin's referral to a 'beautiful home' might pose questions because the term 'B & B' (Bed and Breakfast) has become a generic term applied to...

We spent two nights here to ride our bikes in this area. Port Washington is midway on the Interurban trail. You can ride the trail south to Cedarburg or even further to Milwaukee. The trail also heads north to Sheboygan / Kohler. We enjoyed riding both on Saturday and Sunday. Do not miss breakfast at Port Washington Inn. We had...

My wife and I spent 2 wonderful nights at this B&B. Dave and Rita made our stay and experience we will always remember. Everything about the Inn was wonderful and we will certainly return when in the area. The breakfast is amazing and a must is Dave's own wheat bread. Thank you both for all your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay at the Inn very much. We needed a long weekend away and Port Washington was perfect. The inn was very comfortable and the hosts extremely friendly and accommodating. We stayed on the top floor and loved watching the sunrise while enjoying our morning coffee. The hosts recommended restaurants and things to do. We highly recommend the...

My mother and I spent 4 nights in Helen's and Noelle's Rooms on the second floor. I have stayed in many B&B's, and I can say that Rita and Dave have innkeeping down to a science--and an art. The inn is spotless. Each room has its own key so you can lock the door when you leave during the day....

Most people’s lives are more hectic than they wish and their time away with loved ones is less frequent than they wish. Choosing a venue to enhance that special time together is increasingly important. We understand; we feel the same. When we switch roles and become travelers/guests we are always hoping for lovely weather and easy traveling; of course that...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Port Washington Inn is a five room bed and breakfast in the truest sense of the term. The inn was built in 1903 as the private home of George and Eva Blessing. The original character of the home has been preserved during the extensive restoration it has undergone during our time here (our 21st season begins in 2016)! A stay at Port Washington Inn will provide peaceful privacy and generous hospitality. Dave's excellent early morning coffee and a full breakfast prepared from scratch and served buffet style in our formal dining room get our guests' day off to a great start. The complimentary beverage centers, homemade treats, and generous common areas inside and outside the inn receive high marks with our guests. All guestrooms have queen beds, attached private baths, comfortable seating and good reading lights. We invite you to experience the peaceful privacy and generous hospitality which bring guests back again and again. Secure WIFI access and good mobile phone reception will keep you connected during your time away. Take advantage of our multiple night discounts! ... more   less
