The Plaza is my favorite Milwaukee hotel. I love the Art Deco architecture and decor. The rooms are huge, there's a lot of storage, and the full kitchen is well-appointed. The furniture is more like you'd find in someone's home than on a typical hotel. The cafe (breakfast and lunch only) is outstanding--perfectly prepared food in an elegant dining room....

We enjoyed our stay at the Plaza, and have been telling our friends of the wonderful experience. The room was very nice, and the location of the property made it easy to enjoy our stay in Milwaukee. The best surprise was having breakfast at the Café in the morning. The food was amazing, and the experience could not have been...

The hotel rooms need a general update / upgrade. The kitchen area in our room was very unappealing to use which was a shame considering this was a big part of the reason we chose this hotel. The furniture in the rooms were old and need to be updated, as well. Cleanliness wasn't an issue at all - very clean...

The room was not modern, but it was clean. Carpet was very old, clean. Walk to downtown and Lake are very close. Bed was good, slept just fine. Plenty of options on the TV. Was nice to have the kitchenette. Would stay there again.

Too much light in the room and too much noise between rooms, otherwise a great stay and beautiful place. Loved the character of the building and the cafe for brunch was awesome. We got ready there for our wedding and our pictures in the room will be so cute.

This property is a nice change of pace from most hotel chains. Staff was very friendly. The location is convenient to the downtown and the restaurant is fantastic. It was packed on the Saturday morning we were there. My only complaint would be some small leaks on the kitchen and bathroom fixtures.

Great vintage hotel feel with good amenities. Clean and has full kitchen. Close walking distance to the Bradley Center for basketball games or events. There are many places to grab a quick drink and chicken wings too.

We recently stayed four nights at the Plaza, and we were pleasantly surprised with the stay. The property is a little older, which was both good and bad. The heating unit was an old radiator, which did OK for us, but something to be aware of. The bathroom is a little small, but again, nothing that was off putting for...

Don't know how I found it 9 months ago when I was planning this little trip with a friend for my 65th birthday, but I am really glad I did. Loved the kitchen...helpful and friendly staff throughout... It isn't new (radiators heated the room, for one) but it has been very nicely restored. Nothing uncomfortable about it. On the kitchen...we...

Growing up in Milwaukee, I never knew this place existed. But it was amazing! Great feel, great price, super friendly staff and amazing location. The 2 room suite was perfect for the 4 of us. I will definitely be staying here again!
