Great spot with nice accommodations. Our cabin was comfortable and had a wood burning stove. Rented 2 boats and brought a motor for one of the boats. The cabin accommodated 6 adults and could have had 2 more comfortably. Spent a little time singing Go Cubs Go for the NCS.

Just returned from a trip to Deadhorse Lodge and could not be happier with the owners and the resort. Very laid back and welcoming and a wonderful place to get away. The pizza was amazing and the people that stay here have wonderful stories (since most have been coming back for generations). We rented boats and kayaks and the fishing...

Came to Deadhorse Lodge for the annual fishing trip "up north". Location is perfect right on the water so we could come and go with little effort. The cabin we had (Pinehaven) had 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms which worked well for the 6 of us. My only complaint is the cabin has that musty smell and could also...

We have been vacationing at the Flambeau Flowage for over 40 years and I think we have found our new favorite place. The grandchildren loved the small beach, the paddleboat, the grassy areas to play, and especially Deadhorse Lake where they caught little panfish as fast as their father or grandfather could take them off the hook. The owners, Kathy...

I'm not sure what the last post is talking about because this place is wonderful. The owners, Cathy and Bob are great and very welcoming. The place is beautiful and very clean as well. I don't think it's much to ask for the people renting the cabin's to have it cleaned and in the same condition as when they get...

Beautiful place but the people who run the lodge were a nightmare! First, I was a little taken a back when we walked in and found laminated rules posted in almost every area of the cottage. Secondly, my family and I felt as though the owners were awkwardly watching our every move. For instance, we could see one of the...

The guest moved huge rocks and drove over our sewer system and we were quite upset. As far as the other accusations we live across the street and have no view of this unit. We have owned this resort for 30 years and respect our renters privacy. Our units are very clean and well maintained. Sorry she had a bad...

Owners very nice. Resort very well kept and cabin spacious and more like a home. A bit more expensive than we usually spend, but well worth it as there were 6 of us. Nice beach area with wooden chairs by the group camp fire. Swim out raft and small sand beach. Paddle boat (shared use) and fishing boat (no motor)...
