This place was a nice surprise. It sits in a cute small town that offers a few nice shops to browse. Especially the Marketplace and The Natural Way. I also like resale shops and they had a fun liquidator right downtown. The Inn itself was overall pretty good. The lobby is beautiful and the history of the Inn is very... More

Most hotels we have stayed at have bed hard as rock. The mattress was extremely comfortable as was the entire room we had the Dove room. The bar was very nice especially the stained glass ceiling. Food at the restaurant was very, very good although I thought it to be a bit pricey. All in all I highly recommend a... More

We had a very relaxed evening at the inn. The building was recently renovated and is beautiful. Our room was very pretty with a comfortable bed and very soft sheets. The in room whirlpool was a great bonus. The inn includes a bar and a great restaurant.

The Inn accommodations are comfortable and spacious. We stayed in the Purple Martin room, on the third floor. I was enchanted with the atmosphere, but the friendly staff really made our stay excellent. (We also ate at Nola's: see separate review.) If you're traveling with friends, or family, there is a center gathering area on each floor, complete with games.... More

Wasn't sure what to expect when going to Mayville, WI, but the Audubon Inn, NOLA North restaurant, the town of Mayville and Dodge County all exceeded expectations. Really neat historic hotel with cool touches like custom stained glass representing the areas natural habitats and wildlife, cool paintings and an excellent restaurant. As a New Orleans native, I'm always skeptical when... More

Quiet, very clean. Beautiful restoration, rich wood. We were greeted by a iced carafe with line and cucumber slices. Tasty. Large four post bed with antique furniture and single whirlpool tub. Aveda toiletries. The adjoining restaurant is "NOLA-North" featuring New Orleans menu. Surrounded by wood and glowing stained glass. The bar is also beautiful featuring a lit from behind huge... Newly renovated the Audubon Inn provides a pleasant stay for the right price. It's been around a long time and the restoration hasn't diminished the remnants of yesteryear. The beautiful staircase is a tribute to their efforts. Our suite was roomy and comfy. The queen bed provided for great sleeping and the new bathroom updates were lovely. The restaurant, Nola,... We liked this hotel. Very attractive building. Beautifully done on the inside. We had room 30, a signature suite. Two rooms - one with a nice sitting area and dish tv, the bedroom had a queen size bed. (wish it had been a king). Views over the street were nice. we were there for two nights - on a weekend.... Stayed here on a Wednesday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restoration of the building was lovely with big wide staircases (they do have an elevator too) and books and games in the spacious common areas. My room came with a four poster bed, a comfortable couch, a Kohler whirlpool tub, and a good desk, though it could have used... More

My second time at the Audubon Inn. As usual everything was top notch. Keith, the owner, greeted me and remember my last trip As I am a chef and starting a new venture, a food truck, I am a bit anal about my ingredients and their quality. Some trucks buy the cheapest products available and wonder why they fail. I... More
