We found this Inn through a third party promotion. We have had good luck in discovering new places with these sources and as this one offered dinner each night, it was especially appealing. Our check-in went off without a hitch and the innkeeper on duty escorted both us and another couple to our third floor rooms. This inn dates back...

The Audubon Inn is quite a gem in the little town of Mayville, Wisconsin. Actually, I have passed by this Inn many times during the past several years and always wanted to stay there, and finally I had my chance. Upon arriving we were greeted very warmly by Pam. Not only did she check us in, but she showed us...

Our 2nd visit was even more enjoyable than the 1st. Great hospitality from the staff, a fully up to date experience in a historic building and a wonderful dinner at the adjoining NOLA Northern Grille. The rooms are expansive including a sitting area, lots of space and this had a soaking tub that comfortably accommodated two adults. The bed was...

I really like visiting and staying at these old historic hotels. While you won't always find all the amenities and modern conveniences of the major chains, the personal touches provided by independent owners, and the ambience of these jewels, always make up for any lack of modern amenities. First I'll review the room: Very clean, and some nice touches, like...

We love staying at this historic hotel and this way our third visit using a travel zoo voucher. We stayed in the same room one year ago and this year noticed an advanced decline. The room had an odor of old and stuffy. One pillow was beyond it's prime, lumpy. The bathroom door didn't shut tight and the sink was...

What a gem in the middle of nowhere! Thoroughly enjoyed this getaway. Several years ago my sisters and I met up at the Audubon for a sisters get away and I have been fighting going back ever since even though we had a great time. I felt we needed to be adventurous and try a new location but with our...

My sister took me to the restruant for my birthday. It is a charming inn and we got a tour. The restaurant was very charming and old turn of the century. We had cheese curds and an artisan pizza. My hubby and I fought over who got to take the left overs for lunch. The waiter was awesome. He knew how...

This is our second trip to the Audubon Inn in the last few months. Both stays were wonderful. The room was quaint and cozy. The town and area are picturesque. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had massages both times and have eaten in the Nola (excellent food). I would highly recommend this to someone looking to get away...

We were meeting friends at NOLA North Grille in Mayville and decided to stay overnight at the Audubon Inn which is in the same building as well. The hotel dates back to the late 1800's. While it preserves the ambiance of the past, it is quite up to date. The hotel has 18 rooms, an adjoining restaurant, a new micro...
