Absolutely perfect! Nothing could have been improved on. Our room was very clean and well laid out. The bathroom was huge and had a tall shower head to be able to accommodate me and I'm 6'3". Beautiful view off our quiet private deck of Lake Superior

We had a beautiful view from our condo of Lake Superior. We had a great kitchen, with all necessities. The living room is comfortable but the real seller with the hot tub in the loft which you also could see Lake Superior while relaxing. We are definitely staying there again.

We had a great 2 night stay. Our room was off the main Inn grounds three/ fourths mile on golf course. This is a newer building. It has a living room/ kitchenette with frig, microwave, toaster oven and plates and silverware. A fire place with a HD tv is above it. The bedroom has a king bed and another tv....

Madeline Island is the escape for mid-westerners equivalent to Cape Cod for north-easterners: Short summer season with rustic but expensive accommodations accessible by small airplane or 20 minute ferry ride from Bayfield, WI. Relaxing atmosphere, with great rustic areas to ride bikes, kayak, or watch the sunrise/sunset. The Inn is the premier lodging on the Island, and although a bit...

Overall this was great place to stay, It looks like maybe they are working on upgrading a few things, So I going with a 4 star instead of 5. Our view was amazing so bonus there! Cons: Spiders (not in our room but literally on every light and chandelier, patio table and chair) Loose banister (I was afraid It was...

A great hotel right on Lake Superior. Comfortable beds. Clean. Loved the fact there was more than 1 coffee packet--it's nice to be able to make more than 1 pot of coffee!! You can watch the sunsets on the pier right outside the hotel--gorgeous!

We had a fabulous meal here. My son had the mussels. He devoured them. The sauce was Delicious. We also had pizza which was fabulous, and the grilled romain salad with shrimp. Everything was fresh and excellent. We would totally go back. This was our first stop on our first trip to the island.

I think I should start reviewing this place now although I'm still scheduled to leave tomorrow, Friday, July 29! I arrived here on Sunday and was immediately impressed with the location. The veranda overlooks the bay and a few yards to the dock. Waking up in the morning and watching the sun goes down each day is simply amazing! The...

We absolutely loved our stay at the Madeline Island Condominiums (part of the Inn on Madeline Island). Our 2-level condo with 2 bedrooms plus a roomy loft was perfect for the 7 people we had for our girls weekend. Breakfast and dinners on the deck, a great kitchen open to the living room so we could cook about 1/2 our...

We rented 407 in the Lighthouse building I believe. It was pretty run down no microwave, no wifi and the bathroom was tiny with broken drawers and toilet paper holder. We saw our friends room at the front with Lake views, it was sooo much better! Probably a lot more $ but much nicer. We went the second weekend in...

Hi Jen, I am so sorry you were unhappy with your room. The Lightkeeper's Lodge street side rooms do not offer microwaves. We looked but did not find the drawers and toilet paper holder to be broken. Perhaps they were repaired. Again, we apologize for their condition. Our street side rooms at the lodge have been very popular since being...
