The Green Apple proved to be a very relaxing and tasty respite during a busy weekend. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean and restful. Breakfast each morning was fresh, organic, and oh so pleasing to the palate. Len and Samantha were very gracious hosts. It's places like Green Apple and the people who run them that make the...

This lovely B&B is an old farm house built in 1902. If that isn't cool enough the land surrounding it is beautiful and peaceful. When we got in bed at night the silence was like a sweet meditation. When we awoke in the morning gorgeous trees loomed outside, sometimes engulfed by enchanting fog making us feel as if we were...

This is a very cute, quiet place to stay if you are visiting the Driftless region of western Wisconsin. Rooms are comfy and spacious, some with shared baths which was not inconvenient at all. Breakfast was super yummy and very locavore!

My grandsons, 14 and 12, and I stayed two nights at Green Apple while doing some trail bicycling and canoeing. The care we received far exceeded expectations. The room was lovely and clean - exquisite; the grounds were stunning. Green Apple has excellent proximity to the nature reserve and other local attractions. As to the breakfast: healthy, organic foods, sensitivity...

I have never stayed anywhere, in all my travels, where the accommodations and the food were better. The owners, Samantha and Len, were extremely welcoming and enthusiastic hosts. It was immediately apparent they both love what they do. The rooms are meticulously clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was more delicious and plentiful than one would ever expect....

Comfortable beds and the breakfast was organic gourmet! Absolutely delicious. Loved the bottomless cup of stovetop perked organic free trade coffee! One detail of note - if climbing stairs is difficult, know that all...

The Green Apple is a beautifully restored home in the country. The hosts were very friendly to us, and our 3 year old daughter. She enjoyed playing with the cats and meeting the other guests. The breakfast was very filling, and everything was local and organic and delicious! The beds and rooms were clean and comfortable.

“Two rooms has it's own bathroom, the other two share one bathroom. One room has an outdoor deck off the room. You can wake up to roosters!”

“Be sure to talk to Len and Samantha about what your plans are. There is fast wireless internet, but some rooms are more suited to getting office work done (desks, etc) than others. But why bother with paperwork when you can stroll the gorgeous Driftless Area? Keep your briefcase in the car, and and enjoy the area instead.”
