Been there couple of years back and so thought to visit again as staying here is like you are staying inside a forest! But this time (06Nov2020) it was highly disappointing as the reception staff/manager himself started showing attitude while parking our cars inside the property. Later they refused room service also citing covid as reason. So two things here. 1) They have parking facility outside the gate which is about 200mts down the property. You have to unload everything, go down to park and walk a steep "HILL" back to do check-in! They have drivers but refused to do valet parking! 2) They refused room service and used such a tone that made us check-out immediately. Just couldn't stand the rude behaviour from the reception and restaurant ppl. Wonder why should anyone visit such a place and spoil a weekend or holiday!! These guys spoiled our weekend bash!

Dear Chikku41 We accept the "Lousiest Hospitality" review on us with all humility during these challenging times! While we thank you for choosing to stay at Banasura once again to get the forest experience, we regret the strict protocols that we are adhering to protect our Guests and staff, may not have gone down well with you. We understand how the simple things that we used to provide like the valet parking or room service is missing today in our service because of Covid. Maintaining social distancing and hygiene helps us to protect the health, safety and well-being of our Guests and staff which is paramount and supersedes everything else. We agree this little inconvenience may not be to everyone's liking, but it's our sincere desire that in times such as these, all of us remain a little more patient and vigilant till we are safe from this pandemic. We sincerely pray that very soon resorts and holiday destinations become avenues for weekend bashes and fun. But until the restrictions are lifted, my appeal to all is to show restraint, remain a little more sensitive and responsible towards one another's health and well-being and come out from this pandemic unscathed. I hope this incident will not deter you from visiting us again to experience our service that we have always taken pride in. Till then, Stay Safe and Holiday Responsibly! Dear Jamsh, Thank you so much for visiting Banasura Hill Resort. We are pleased to learn that you liked the location and the amenities at our resort. We have received numerous accolades for our exemplary standards of service and zero tolerance for shortfalls, so it was rather unfortunate to learn that we fell short on some of your expectations and regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. Having said that, I was hoping if you could elaborate on where you think we fell short in our hospitality so that we could ensure you our very best on your next visit. With regard to the activities at our resort, quite understandably, guest preferences vary while selecting a resort. Banasura is not a business hotel, hence many of the facilities you’d expect to find in such hotels do not gel with our concept. Our core philosophy of having this resort is to let our guests relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life, and rejuvenate oneself in the abundance of nature. We also regret that you did not find the food at our resort to your liking. While our Kitchen staff have been commended on numerous occasions, so much as to make our restaurant a highlight of our resort for most of our guests, we do understand that taste can be very subjective. If it was the choice of food on the menu that you were dissatisfied with, on your next visit, please feel free to choose anything off the menu and our Kitchen staff led by Chef Gireesh would be glad to try and serve you the dish of your choice. Look forward to having you with us again. Till then, take care. Best Regards, Rajesh Vijayan

Very nice location, courteous staff. They have couple of guided small treks (around an hr long) every day which is very nice. One gets to see waterfall, view point and tea plantation in those treks without any overhead of travel which is a big plus. Cons: Minimal facilities inside room considering the category of resort. No AC, but it was not needed atleast in Decemeber. But the awesome location and courteous staff makes up for the all minimal facilities inside room. Tip:Take some snacks and bottled waters with you, nearest grocery shop is 2-3km away

Dear Vaibhaw, Thank you for sharing your experience at Banasura Hill Resort. We are glad to hear that you had a memorable stay and were able to spend some quality time with nature. This is precisely what Banasura Hill Resort is all about and we are certainly fortunate to be able to provide such an enchanting experience to all our guests. Your thoughts on the location, our hospitality and the guided tours are indeed gratifying and certainly fuels us to provide our very best, every time. Due to the unique mud architecture that helps regulate the temperature of the room throughout the year, the need for using an AC or fan does not arise. Thank you for providing such a valuable tip, though, a snack or two at our restaurant would be equally as enjoyable as you think! Warm Regards, Rajesh Vijayan
