Weather interfered with our camping plans, so I gave a call to this small hotel (which is really an old style MOTEL. The operators could not have been more friendly, they booked us in at a very reasonable rate and when we arrived, they actually gave me some money back because we had one less adult than we had planned...

While growing up in Menomonee Falls, my parents and I would venture out and stay at Fireside Inn. I learned to swim in their pool, and had a blast staying here with my parents. I work in the hospitality industry and understand hotel processes, but no matter the reviews, I will always have fond memories of this hotel. Like another...

The staff is terrible and very unfriendly!! The pool and games do not open until 9 in the morning so two toddlers with no swimming pool is quite frustrating!! Bring your own breakfast because their "continental breakfast" is prepackaged Little Debbie snacks!!!!

We were up in the area for a family reunion, and had our dog with us. They have rooms that allow pets, and some that don't, which is nice for people who might have pet allergies or whatever. We had stayed in 4 hotels in as many days. This was actually the nicest, and a couple were national chain types....

We had a large group of motorcyclists coming from the UP and lower Wisconsin that stayed for three nights. This is a real live Mom & Pop motel that was prefect for the group. The staff was super and the rooms were spotless. The decor is not brand new and may have seen better days but if you are a...

This is a small lakeside town with not a lot of options. This was basically what I expected from a small town motel. The rooms were a nice size, but very, very outdated. It smelled very musty. The hot tub did not look very clean so I did not go in the pool or hot tub. Breakfast offered was little...

We stayed here last weekend for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were big and clean, with all the needed amenities (including WiFi). The owners and staff were more than accommodating; we immediately felt like welcome guests in their (large) home. Because virtually all the rooms open onto an an atrium with a pool,...

Worst time I have had at a motel for what they charge for this dump. I would never stay here again. The management was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! There is bare plywood on the ceiling and everything was very dirty starting with the ceiling fans!!!

My family stayed at the Fireside Inn this past weekend for my sister's birthday. I arrived late in the evening and was tired from a full day of work and the ride up. I was welcomed by Al who manages the front desk with a welcoming smile. My family rented seven rooms and each room was comfortable and clean. Each...

We stayed here again over Labor day while visiting friends that have a house in Cecil. We arrived and we couldn't get in our room right away but that's okay. Came back later and checked in. Nice and friendly place to stay and clean and comfortable. New person at front desk but overall friendly. We'll stay again. We planned on...
