We booked two nights at Willowood Inn based on reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. We were looking forward to hiking at Devils Lake State Park and relaxing for a few days and this was the perfect spot. The room was comfortable, clean and the grounds were gorgeous. The scenery around the Inn is so nice and...

Rode up to Devil's Lake on the motorcycle and when riding into Baraboo, we saw the Inn. We didn't immediately go get a room and then we saw some 'regular' hotels. We decided to go stay at the Inn because it looked like an adventure in itself. We were very happy and surprised with the results. We were in the...

This past weekend my wife and I traveled to Devil's Lake for our third anniversary. When choosing where to stay we read the reviews here and took a leap of faith. Typically we stay in regular hotels because you typically know what to expect. We were not disappointed in the least. The main office building was welcoming and filled with...

We are always happy to hear when folks enjoy their stay at the Inn! And VERY happy to know they had a nice quiet stay. About the problem with the electric outlets. We recognize the need for 3 pronged outlets, just haven't found it in the budget to re-wire the place yet. (It's on our honey-do list) BUT WE DO...

My husband and I stayed here last weekend while visiting my family. The owners were friendsly, our room was clean, and we were able to park 10 feet from our door. It is located near the entrance to Devil's Lake State Park, and there is easy access to US Hwy. 12. We will certainly stay here again.

My husband and I were driving out of devils lake state park on hwy 123, when he happened to see this quaint and colorful motel on the left side of the road. "I want to stay here this summer!" He said so we stopped by to inquire. We did not stay at this time but the owners not only gave...

We stayed this past weekend at Willowood Inn while in Baraboo for the Wine Walk. This is the second time I have lodged at Willowood and loved it again. And will definitely go back. The room was fun and clean and the new walk in shower with fluffy towels was GREAT. Great shower pressure too! The southwest room was our...

We stayed at the Willowood Inn last weekend and had a very nice experience. Linda was helpful and flexible with our request to check-in early, which we really appreciated! The rooms were very clean with nice towels. It had all the basics and was the perfect place to lay our heads after a day of skiing. The price was right...

We just spent a night at Willowood after riding the Mid-Continent Railway dinner train - which we highly recommend. The room was clean and friendly. Truly advertised as a 'mom and pop' in decorating style and simplicity, it had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. Will be delighted to stay again.

Just returned home after staying 2 nights at the Willowood. It was wonderful - a true Mom and Pop motel with very clean rooms and a warm, friendly welcome from the owners. The theme rooms are great fun, and the common area is cozy. We'll be going back, I'm sure!
