The Blacksmith Inn is the best place to stay in Door County Wisconsin. There are two home that have the most beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms we have ever stayed in. Most have fireplaces, comfy quilts and balconies with hammocks and chairs. The walk out to the dock ends in a lovely vista of Lake Michigan. The property is close...

Very nice place on the water in Door County, but in a much quieter town than some of the county's other areas like Sister Bay (which is fun to go to and only 15-20 minutes away). Rooms are charming yet up to date and clean, the beds comfortable, the oat\meal/cherry cookie jar in the charming lobby added 5 pounds by...

I stayed at the Blacksmith Inn for 3 nights (09/25 - 09/27/16) as an alone getaway to relax, and found the Inn very clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. I've stayed at other historical Inn's in Door County, and found the Blacksmith Inn to be cleaner, more attention having been paid to guest details, a nice comfortable bed, and...

We had the most wonderful couple of days staying here and wished we could have extended our time here. What a beautiful, peaceful location. And then there are the rooms. So comfortable. My favourite was the hammock and watching the stars at night. We also loved the kayaks, the bikes and the truly scrumptious cookies. But most of all, we...

We arrived in pouring rain and were welcomed by Bryan as if we were long-lost friends. We relaxed and enjoyed some refreshments while chatting with Bryan about what the inn offers. Soon he was showing us to our room - beautifully furnished, and with a nice view of the Lake Michigan shoreline. The room was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom...

We had a wonderful experience while staying at Blacksmith Inn. The rooms are comfortable, the grounds very nice and while we did not get to enjoy the paddle boards, kayaks or the bikes- they are there for your use. We enjoyed the cherry oat meals cookies, popcorn and continental breakfast that you can eat by your fireplace. Check out the...

This is an excellent location for doing next to nothing. Sitting on the dock looking out over the harbor with a cooling breeze is a very enjoyable way to spend your time here. Our room was comfortable with a nice balcony view of the lake. We could sit out on the balcony or opt for a nap in the hammock....

My family and I stayed in the Orchard House across the street from the inn, and it was fantastic! The house was charming. Although on the Main Street, there was hardly any traffic noise. The back yard was quite secluded. We enjoyed the hammock and badminton! We already talked about going back. The only drawback was the wifi connection. It...

My husband & I went to Door County for the first time this past week. I spent a lot of time researching places to stay & was so pleased to find the Blacksmith Inn. I called to make a reservation & spoke with Bryan. He was very helpful, answered my questions - which I had a few since I'd never...

We stayed in Unit 1 for 2 nights and hated to leave. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay with a beautiful view of the marsh and harbor from our private deck. They have kayaks, a paddleboard and nice bikes for the guests to enjoy at no charge. You can walk to some nice restaurants and bars in Baileys Harbor...
