I recently stayed at Maxwelton Braes to attend a wedding of friends who were being married there. We were in a cottage on the golf course. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The meal prepared for the wedding was excellent. The bartenders could not have been friendlier! Every aspect of service was top notch from check in until checking...

Even though we had a small two-room suite, the bed and other furnishings, including and especially the bathroom, left a bit to be desired. Still, the staff made up for it, and the good restaurants on premises were very convenient. It's on a golf course, which was a nice amenity for me. Just don't expect too much in terms of...

Beautiful setting on Maxwelton Braes Golf Course Pasta Vino's has a wonderful menu at very reasonable prices. Our server was Alena. She was a charming young lady originally from Eastern Ukraine. She was very attentive and interesting to talk with. I enjoyed the part of the menu where you picked your meat, then your type of pasta and then picked...

I booked this last minute (1 week out) and was able to get a 3 bed suite which was ideal. The room was a little unconventional but it was clean. The Augusta National suite has 2 doors; one opens to a two Queen bed room and the other a King bed room. There is a hall in between which has...

Very comfortable motel, all one level, on a golf course. We walked in and easily obtained our room key, and the more spacious rooms are named after golfers, and our room was at the end of the hall. Just a room number on the door, but a turn of the key revealed and impressive room with king bed, two reclining...

We had a delightful stay at Maxwelton Braes (July 1-July 4) and look forward to returning soon. It was just like going home for us since we used to stay and golf at MB for many-many happy years(when The Ridings owned the property) and are more than pleased MB has re-opened under new ownership/management. Baileys Harbor's Sandpiper Restaurant is now...

We had about 30 of us for a family reunion and there was plenty of room and things to do here. I live with arthritis, but these beds were SO COMFY. The fire pit they have was a great place for everyone to visit with. The staff couldn't of been friendlier. Rooms were clean. We stayed at one of the...

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Maxwelton Braes. We live in Milwaukee along with the majority of our family and friends, so this was very much a destination wedding. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout the months leading up to the wedding. They were always willing to walk through every aspect of the...

My cousin had her outdoor wedding and wedding reception at this facility last night. The majority of the wedding party as well as a few other family members also stayed at this place over the weekend. From everything that they said the staff here were very accommodating and every aspect of the wedding, the facility was very well-kept and clean,...

After a long day of visiting small towns in the Door County Wisconsin area we arrived at a Golf Course to find this hidden gem of a hotel. The hotel itself looks to be the Golf Course Clubhouse. We were surprised to find the hotel location in this wonderful stone building. The check-in was very smooth at the small front...
