We love staying at B&Bs and meeting the people from the town...this was no exception. The owner, Monica and her dad Carl, were kind and gracious to host our two nights at there 'home.' We were delighted with the company at breakfast (Carl, age 93) and the food was not a disappointment. We loved the porch swing with the homemade...

It was lovely sharing our home with you, as well as the infamous porch swing. We hope you all will come back!

My son and I took the Hanna suite and are delighted with our experience. The innkeeper, Monica and her dad, Carl are delightful. Breakfast was scrumptious. I highly recommend and plan to return. The proximity to the Greenbrier resort and lewisburg is a plus.

It was so lovely to have you all as guests. Please tell your son if he wants a copy of the cobbler recipe to just send me an email. I love to share.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of July 2016 (about 6 weeks after 'the big flood'). The inn is situated at the top of a hill so it managed to stay virtually unscathed (aside from some 6 inches of rainwater in the basement and a wet doormat in the cabin). Someone was definately looking out for the...

It is always a pleasure to have families with kids to share the history of our little cabin. Thank you for the kind words and for promoting our sweet little town. God was looking over us on that memorable June day. But, we shouldn't forget all he gives us on a daily basis with bringing business and guests like you...

The James Wylie House is the only other accommodation in White Sulphur Springs, apart from the Greenbrier Resort. When the Greenbrier is booked out, the reservation staff don't typically tell you about this alternative, which is a shame. The James Wylie House is a historic home built before 1825 that has been run as a B&B for many years. It...

We have stayed here several times over several years. Monica and Carl are wonderful hosts. The house is a historical gem, with well worn wooden stairs that proudly show their age. The high ceilings lend an air of a bygone era. The breakfasts here are fantastic, muffins, pancakes, sausage. Yum. Monica and Carl are delightful hosts who love to tell...

My husband and I had booked our room prior to the terrible flooding. We called ahead to ensure we could still stay and our hostess was very gracious and explained that she was looking forward to having guests. There were obvious signs of the recent flooding along the way but the James Wylie House was unscathed. We were greeted by...

Stayed here last weekend and it was as cozy and friendly as ever. Such a relaxing atmosphere, wonderful company and fabulous breakfasts! The Innkeeper goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

We loved our stay in the cabin behind the inn. Monica and Carl are wonderful hosts. The cabin was absolutely spotless, and our breakfast was generous and tasty. A very comfortable stay in a meticulously cared for historic property. Highly recommended.

Decided on the James Wylie House for a sibling get-together because it was equidistant travelling for all 4 of us. What a quaint establishment with fantastic and friendly hosts Monica and her dad, Carl. Breakfast in the historic dining room was feast of pancakes (even gluten free for those with gluten restrictions!), bacon and fresh fruit along with coffee, tea...
