We stayed in Room 418 Friday and Saturday nights, we were there for a wedding. when we first entered the room, there was a small bug in the bathtub. Later that evening we found one by the toilet, and an additional two Saturday evening. Yes, they were roaches. When I told the clerk at the front desk that “we had killed a total of four roaches she looked alarmed, apologized, but didn’t offer us any kind of discount or anything, we could not get a different room because it was full when we got there, they were turning people away. I’m sure they will blame it on COVID, the same reason they couldn’t clean the room either.also the pool was nasty, but closed anyway. The complimentary breakfast was bad.
We had an great experience staying at this hotel. The room was spacious with a jacuzzi in the room; the indoor pool was warm, the breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to check in early since we were ahead of schedule. We would definitely revisit and highly recommend it.
For all of the people giving this hotel 4-5 stars for cleanliness....I would love to see what your homes look like. There was s***t stains in the toilet from the previous occupant along with hairs that didn’t belong to me or the person I was staying with. I understand this is WV but come on. The floor has dirt stains all over it, and I’m not going to even dare look at the lounge chair they put in the corner. Thank the good Lord up above this is a one night stop because I’m looking to GO. Thanks but no thanks.
We chose this hotel because a few years ago we had such a good overnight stay in a lovely new hotel, pbut it must have been C. Inn at different location, maybe on I-81. The furnishings seemed dated. There were no USB ports. The "duvet" was so lumpy it looked like a herd of mice were sheltering under it. The gal at desk did provide a clean white cotton blanket. We got to BF at about 8:45 and found little left... pre-formed scrambled egg discs, sausage rounds, packaged muffins. No juice, fruit, toast, or waffles. One guest was seen putting many items in a paper bag (not lunch size) and leaving. With few staff it is hard to keep an eye on things. Girl at desk night before was only one on duty and was super busy. It was quiet. Parking lot was almost full by evening. Close to I-77. Nice rocking chairs out front, …
We stayed here for one night when we went to list our acerage for sale. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I went to call the front desk for additional pillows and found the phone in the sitting area wasn't working because the phone cord was disconnected. Since all hotel rooms must have a working phone, we looked around and found the new (working) phone by the bedside. Just thought it odd that they'd leave the old non-working phone in the room. Breakfast was premade egg/sausage/cheese biscuits and some fruit (apples/bananas). There was cereal, milk and yogurt available as well. Coffee was good.
