My family was looking for a place to accommodate us after our father's funeral. Mountain Quest was just what we needed for the evening. The owners welcomed us, gave us the tour, and let us relax, laugh, cry and share good times. They opened the dining room for us to bring in pizza, and even made a salad for my...

What a truly remarkable place this is. We expected a secluded mountain inn; we got so much more. I was blown away by the beauty of the land itself, before even walking into the property. The views are breathtaking. Our room was very comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. I loved not having cell service, it really allows you...

My wife and I were in the area for the Cass Scenic Train ride and were looking for a place for a night and found this gem. This place is around 25 minutes from the Cass Train depot and is a 450 acre farm owned by David and Alex Bennet. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Mr Bennet...

We stayed in August as a back to school trip for a weekend with 3 small children. It was a great and relaxing stay, even with children. We took a blanket and laid outside on the grass while the children ran around, played tag and hide and seek and climbed trees. We also got a tour of the farm where...

The Inn at Mountain Quest is a unique place to relax and unwind. The rooms are all decorated in unique styles. Beds comfortable, baths were clean and well stocked. The breakfast was deliciously prepared by their on-site chef. The location in the valley was beautiful. It's a great place for a one night visit or a longer stay.

We have been to this B&B a couple of times now and it is always a wonderful, relaxing experience. The absence of wifi and cell phone signals make it possible to fully relax and unwind (actually forces you to). This gives you the ability to leave the real world behind and just enjoy a stress free escape from reality. The...

While exploring places to stay near the Green Bank Telescope I came across the Inn at Mountain Quest. The rooms looked clean and the property looked inviting. When we pulled up we received more than pictures could have displayed. The ground was snow covered and the Inn and property were amazing. The Bennet family were more than welcoming! The breakfast...

The Inn at Mountain Quest is a treasure and could be a destination all by itself. The accommodations are lovely and the proprietors even more so. The property and the rooms are cleaner and better appointed than most four star hotels we've stayed at and without the pretense and formality. We were in Monterey, VA for the Maple Festival and...

I stayed at the inn when my semi truck broke down, fortunately there was room. It is off the beaten path but what a place to relax and get away from the busy everyday world we live in. I stayed in the oriental room and it is beautiful and fresh feeling. David and Alex are wonderful hosts, so interesting. Andy...

My husband and I returned for our second annual visit to this charming B&B the middle of October. The farm house and rooms are indeed unique. The hosts share many collections throughout their inn from their world travels and their varied interests. The two story library which is part of the Virginia Library system is home to over 26,000 books....
