From the moment you drive up, the Inn at Lost River welcomes you. My husband and I knew instantly that we'd found the perfect place for a weekend away. I almost forgot it had only taken us two hours to arrive at a setting so serene and peaceful -- and such a complete dichotomy from our lives living and working...

We were lucky to be invited by some friends to the Inn at Lost River recently. I was promised some relaxation and this gorgeous hidden gem certainly delivered. The friends who invited us had stayed here previously which was handy, as I don't know if we would have ever discovered this place on our own. Toni & Ted, the owners,...

What a great find! The rooms are clean, no frills, pet friendly. The restaurant and lounge are wonderful. The food was very tasty with good prices. All the locals gather here to eat and drink. The owner and staff are so friendly. We will definitely be back.

My wife Ceci and I had a wonderful visit this past weekend with Toni and Ted at The Inn at Lost River this past weekend as we were there to celebrate our good friends' Bob and Steve anniversary! The ambience was very cozy and relaxing, jazz music, smells of great cooking and charming/gracious attention from our hosts. The breakfasts were...

My wife and I absolutely loved visiting this unique Inn, nestled on a picturesque piece of land in beautiful West VA. Our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable, just like the rest of the Inn. The owners were beyond accommodating and served a 5 star restaurant quality breakfast. We also enjoyed visiting the General Store next door, where we...

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful with sweeping lawns stretching out in all directions. Our hosts, Ted and Toni, made us feel right at home and served up an amazing breakfast of waffles, eggs, bacon and fresh fruit. The inn is also attached to a really cool general store, complete with lunch counter and...

My wife and I wanted to plan a stay-cation with some friends from out of town and thought West Virginia was a good compromise. It was close enough to drive, but far enough away from DC where we didn't have the stresses of staying home. We were fortunate enough to find a weekend that worked for all of us and...

We stayed at the Inn at Lost River over Labor Day weekend 2016. It was a fantastic get-a-way from the city. The rooms are private, very clean and comfortable, the grounds are well-kept, the surrounding area is stunning, and most importantly, the breakfast is delicious! There is hiking and kayaking very close by and a yoga studio next door. Toni...

I have been to the Lost River area many times over the years, but my fiance and I were fortunate enough to spend our first weekend at The Inn at Lost River last weekend.
