Stayed a night in this cabin during a trout fishing trip in the spring. Great location, very private, close proximity to town and other amenities. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. TV reception was a no go, but that's okay. Very nice hot tub as well.

Just finished up with a great weekend at Mill Creek Cabins. The cabin was appropriately stocked and had a gorgeous area around the fire pit. The cabins are very centrally located...close to Summersville Lake, New River Gorge Bridge, etc. Highly recommend!

2 friends and I booked a weekend getaway. We stayed in cabin #4. It was clean, affordable and easy to reserve. We stayed a total of 3 nights and were provided 8 towels, 8 wash clothes, 3 toilet paper and 3 paper towels. In addition there was a trash bag in the trash can as well as an extra. By...

Stayed there on Tuesday the 18th and did a phone order that same day. Told me a cabin would be 150 so I booked it. Was charged 168. When I called they told me that is tax added on. Every other place told me the upfront price with tax. Rude customer service. Unless you want a surprise on your credit...

We had a family reunion over the weekend and utilized the lakefront cabins. Very nice accommodations. Cabins were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Really nice bonfire, on the beach, facing the bridge, every night. This was provided by the staff. Only suggestions would be that when you pack your own linens, make sure to include a mattress pad. Their...

This is a nice clean cabin. It is good for couples or family's. It was so relaxing sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings listening to the birds. The hot tub on the patio is really relaxing also.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Mill Creek Cabins. I think they may be in the middle of a change of ownership, as the emails are from New River Gorge Cabins. We had a bit of a hard time booking accommodation. There was not an online option, and the initial phone number had a full voicemail, and the...

These cabins are much cheaper than Adventures on the Gorge lodging. We visited over Memorial Day weekend. Billie, who answers the phone, was very helpful and friendly. Overall, the cabin was clean. It was stocked with plenty of towels for our party of 6 for 2 nights. The cabins are nothing fancy, but they were well stocked and convenient to...

My husband and stayed here for the weekend to white water raft at River expeditions. Beautiful custom built cabin set back in a wooded lot. Very private with everything you need. Nice cozy place to come back to after rafting on a cold day. Only 5-10 minutes From all the restaurants

We had the best time! The cabin was very comfortable, had all the amnesties and the staff was great to work with. I would highly recommend this property. We especially liked the hot tub after a long, cold day on the Upper Gauley white water rafting.

Our 8 person cabins all have pretty much the same floor plan. Enter into the living room, kitchen-dining area with cathedral ceiling. Bath is off to the right behind the kitchen. Then 2 separate bedrooms downstairs with queen size beds. Then we have a loft bedroom with 2 queens in one room. #7 and 8 have half baths upstairs. All have fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, hot tubs, charcoal grills, picnic tables and fire pits for that nice campfire. ... more   less

“Cabin 2 was a nice spot. Though it was winter this cabin is surrounded by trees. All cabins are spread throughout the property so you may see some from a distance but feel you have privacy.”

“All the cabins are similar (maybe even identical in construction). They have larger cabins, but we didn't go into them. The loft area would be great for a bunch of kids, but, it is the best sleeping space in the room as well, since you really get a feel for the openness of the room.”
