AOG has Excellent, Friendly service with a smile. The staff we dealt with were awesome. The white water guides were knowledgeable, expert, and extremely friendly. The New and Gauley rivers are truly top notch whitewater and the ratings of the rapids are spot on. There plenty of things to do at the resort to fill a family week long vacation....

If you want to raft The Gualey or New River in West Virginia there is only one place to do it, as far as I'm concerned. I've never been rafting with a different company, but after the first time with Adventures on the Gorge there was no reason to try another. The second time was just as good if not...

I love being at AOTG. We have stayed 2 separate times and loved it both times. It's camping with amazing amenities. Great restaurants. Awesome activities that can satiate any person's favorite thing. Great staff, super friendly. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Will continue to stay at AOTG every time that we come to West Virginia for camping adventure.

This past Saturday myself and nine friends rafted the Upper Gauley with Adventures on the Gorge and I cannot say enough great things about our trip. Five of us had rafted the New River earlier this season with ARK Knox and I made it very clear that having ARK as a guide was a requirement and not a request. He...

It rained... a lot. But we camped anyway. The grounds were in good shape considering the onslaught of water and the bathrooms were remarkably clean at the campsite. Our river guide, Patrick, was personable and did an excellent job of getting us down the river.

Our cabin was clean and sufficient but it was surrounded by a warehouse on the back side alongside a busy main road and another road behind....it was like highway central! I was disappointed in the setting.

What an amazing intimate and fun experience! The lodging was great! First stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin for two nights then a 2 bedroom cabin (make your reservations because they fill up fast!). I personally liked the 2 bedroom cabin for my boyfriend and myself. Had a hot tub which was great for after white water rafting. The staff...

Great value for the price. Clean accommodations. Very friendly, personal staff. The staff takes safety very seriously. The Gauley River is lots of fun. Don't do the Upper Gauley if you are not at least somewhat physically fit.

I had a great time here! The staff was all super friendly. This has to be the cleanest camping area i've ever seen. The public bathrooms with showers all appeared very clean. The food at Smokey's was really good, but because it's buffet style, as is Buffler's, the food can be a little cold. I had this problem at Buffler's...
