I would definitely recommend getting a balcony room if you can; even tho small, it was very inviting and comfortable. disappointed that snack bar didn't open until 10a.m.; wasn't prepared to go do dining room for breakfast

Overall, I like Canaan Resort, as it is close to where I live and nice for short visits over the weekend. The amenities were good accept for the spa (hot tub was way too hot) and pool temp was too cool. Ran out of towels at the spa as well. Food was good.

Ants and flys, were offered to move to new cabin, but had already unpacked everything and did not wish to repackage. We were told that someone would take care of the problem, that ended up being us. When we went to the pool, there were no towels as all had been used for the day, we were staying in the...

Here I am giving feedback and you require 200 words to give it to you. We had a pleasant restful trip in a slow week for occupancy. It suited us well. We felt the couch/bed was uncomfortable and the furniture had a dated ski lodge look. We ate at the restaurant. The food was ok and the service was good....

Our suite was stunning! So happy I brought my 80 year old mother along. She loved it and is looking forward to coming back in the fall. We were greeted when we checked in, also checked out th gift shop and bought honey from a local beekeeper.

The TV in the cabin was not working when we changed from a lodge room to a cabin. We were not given this information. The bedrooms in the cabin were so dark that we could not see into our suitcases. We took the lamps out of the living room.

When I was a kid, my mom used to bring me down to this area all the time. Now I try to bring her down at least once a year to say thanks for everything she did and still does for me. We always have a good time. This was the first time she stayed at Cannaan since the remodel....

We enjoyed the Valley on Saturday fishing and site seeing around Davis, Thomas, and hiking. The room was way to hot to sleep on the night we arrived because the heat was turned all the way up. No fans to get the air moving.
