The Lodge at Cacapon State Park is staffed by friendly, helpful people. The ambiance is definitely rustic resort. The rooms are comfy and modern, although the electric current worked a little eccentrically in that the wall switch by the netry turned on and off the wall lamps over the beds as well as the alarm clock. Every time I switched...

Online, the lodge looked pretty nice and underpriced. Nope. The price was right. Inexpensive. But the building is pretty tired. Had to run the bath full blast on straight hot to get warm water. They still use metal keys. We asked for 2 keys, but they only had one for our particular room.

We stayed here after planning a long weekend at the last minute. They were able to accommodate us with two twin beds in our room. As the other review mention, the rooms are small, but they were clean and comfortable and we were very pleased with what we had, especially for the price we paid. The price for staying here...

Stayed in the main lodge with a total of 48 rooms. Be aware that the rooms are small! Since I travel light, not that much of an issue, but, If traveling as a couple, would suggest getting a room with 2 beds just to be able to move around and handle your luggage. Great view of sunrise and time before...

This park is beautiful and great trails for running or hiking. However, we stayed in the lodge and even with the nice location it was very dated. It had old dark paneling in the room and simply a look that was screaming out for an update. We found the staff nice and helpful and happy to answer questions. We were...

My family absolutely loves this place, we go at least 3-4 times a year. The first time we went we stayed in the lodge...but then we discovered the cabins. For less money - if there are 4 or more of you - you can stay in a lovely, rustic cabin with a full kitchen and fireplace (stocked wood included). We...

Cacapon State Park is beautiful and very well maintained. Excellent hiking trails, great views, year round, that is why the rating is 2. However, the resort and cabins at Cacapon State Park needs serious updating and staff trained in ethics, business management, manners, good customer service and friendliness. Every time I have called about renting a cabin or a room...

Decided to stop here on our way back from Ohio. Lovely place. Very quaint and great for families. The cost of a room at the lodge is very reasonable (under 100). The rooms are old 1960's vintage, so they're not very large, but they had a flat screen TV, AC (very comfortable) and a nice old fashioned bathroom. We got...

Visited over night with a friend. Stayed in the lodge. I was very impressed with the beauty of the park and the lodge was like stepping back into a scene from "Dirty Dancing" with a great 60's vibe. We were greeted by very friendly staff and we're given a very dated but clean room at a reasonable rates. Obviously we...

I know , it's technically not in Berkeley Springs. But, then again, Berkeley Springs isn't technically Berkeley Springs, is it? While, there, I went to the 3 other closest hotels. The reviews are right on the motel and I would say the Best Western. It's late July and doesn't look like it's cut it's grass yet. Country Inn - too...
