Brad and Steve do a fantastic job with the menu and service! The food is always amazing. I personally always go for the Filet Mignon but I'm certain everything is superb! In addition to the food they have a top-notch wine selection.

We had a wonderful time at this B&B, situated outside of town and surrounded by quiet fields of hops. There's a smallish pool and yard. We were the only guests one night of our stay, the other night was more crowded but still quiet and relaxed (except at dinner time). The Saturday dinner was lovely, if a bit pricy. It... More

This is a great little place in Yakima, outside of the typical chains in town. Wonderful staff and personal service. My room was clean and well appointed. The dinner was perfect, service and food. I went by myself and was promptly included in a beautiful 50th anniversary for the table next to me. Stayed the weekend. The only issue I... More

We stayed overnight in the Victoria room at the Birchfield Manor the end of July. The room was spacious and well appointed with everything we needed, except Kleenex perhaps. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows enhanced a great night's sleep. The adjoining bathroom had no tub, but the shower was more than adequate. We... More

The inn is in a neat historic building but the rooms need maintenance. The showers have terrible water pressure, and many of the fixtures are loose or broken. I really couldn't recommend it in its current state. There is an outdoor pool, but it appeared to be dirty and not maintained. The food was good, but again, there was carelessness.... More

Brad Masset catered our daughter's wedding at Hackett Ranch (Yakima) on 6/4/16. Despite 97 degrees and off-site location, Brad presented a 5-star meal for our 120 guests. We heard ONLY compliments: "BEST wedding food ever; BEST seasonings on salmon and chicken ever; the only salmon that trumps Brad's salmon is what I catch and prep straight from the ocean/river." Brad's... More

My wife and I stayed in the Main House in August after not having visited for 20+ years. While the dinner was excellent, the "charm" of the facility has turned to shabby due to neglect. The Main House and rooms are in serious need of renovation and upgrading. The manager seems to be in way over his head. We were... More

We had stayed here many years ago and loved the place. The food was awesome and we stayed in the guest house which was very nice. I didn't check the reviews, assuming it would be the same, but we were disappointed. We stayed in the main house this time. Our host was very pleasant and also very helpful. Breakfast was... More

In Yakima with friends to do some wine tasting. We all stayed here for 3 nights. The service was top notch, Dominick is great. House has a common dining room and bedrooms up with their own baths. No other common rooms. It is an older themed approach but each bedroom had a jetted tub and separate shower. No TV but... More

This was the first time we had stayed at the Birchfield Manor. My husband is from Yakima and has been away for over 40 years. He had heard over the years that the Birchfield Manor was a place to visit. One has to look at this knowing that this home is over 100 years old and with that comes quite... More

“The rooms in the main house are large and comfortable, most with Victorian-type decor. The Elizabeth room overlooks the grounds and pool, and is nice and quiet. The rooms in the newer building are more modern, have balconies/porches overlooking the pond, and have modern electronics.”
