"We planned on staying two nights and ended up staying six. That should give you an idea of our experience at Timberlake. Kyle and Marissa were terrific hosts, always attentive to the needs of their guests and just great young people to be around. The camp is well located for visiting the many beautiful hikes and sights in the area,...

Lovely campground! My husband and I had heard about Timberlake from our friends who camped there and said we had to try it out! We had a great time and were more than happily surprised with the accommodations! It's right smack in the middle of the Gorge and only minutes away from Dog Mountain hiking trail. Our site was spacious...

Went to Timberlake Campground when all of Washington State's campgrounds were full up. Along the Columbia Gorge, if you stay at a campground near the River (on either the Washington or Oregon side) you get the trains coming through the night to awaken you. But this place is higher and a few miles back so you aren't bothered by trains....

We've been here three times in six years - so not frequent guests. The first two times we were very impressed with the cleanliness, customer service, and condition of the individual sites. This last time we were not. Additionally, two of the three days, we had cold showers - which are coin operated, so you know the guests are not...

I am sorry to hear about your last experience with us. We clean our rest rooms 2-3 daily and unfortunately we were completely unaware of the water issue. We pride ourselves on our clean facilities and attention to detail; we were at full capacity memorial weekend and were unaware of the issue. Again, we sincerly apologize for the inconvenience and...

I think this is one of the most lovely RV parks we have ever stayed in. The new owner is very attentive to keeping everything tip top. The sites give campers a good bit more room than most, I think. The park is very quiet with East or West wind, we could hear the train on one night when the...

We rolled into this campground and got our tent up JUST before the sun went down and it started to pour. New owners are very sweet and considerate and offered to open up the lodge so we could stay dry! Will definitely visit again- the bathrooms were immaculate!

We stayed at this campground early August 2015, as we were planning to do local rides on our Harleys. The grounds were well kept, but i wasn't a fan of the loose gravel. The washroom/showers, were very nice, large shower area, and very clean. Good wifi, as long as near the washrooms or office. The owner and his staff were awesome,...

Beautiful wooded, quiet campground with good space between the tent sites. Good, clean restroom facilities but you'll need a bunch of quarters for the showers. Very nice welcome from the campground owner. One of the nicest campgrounds ever.

We've been here about 4 times. The park is really clean and the facilities are modern but the showers cost about $1.25 - $1.50 per shower. They seem to charger for every extra thing and there is really nothing close-by to see or do. Nearest town is Stevenson and or Hood River via a toll bridge. They say they have...

We were quite impressed with this campground; clean, quiet, etc. until we went to shower. No warning that tokens were required until we were already in the shower! They didn't mention it upon checkin and it completely changed our feel-good attitude. Not only is it inconvenient to have to get tokens but if I'm paying $40 for a campsite I...
