We enjoyed our stay here. We were in Cabin 1. The location is beautiful and the cabin was large and comfortable. Having kayaks and bicycles available was excellent. There are DVDs available for watching movies in your cabin. The hot tub was nice, too. The close by vegetable garden and bakery were convenient. We highly recommend this place. It was...

Our family spent a few days at Silverbay and enjoyed every minute. Great hosts, good accommodations, lots to do, well stocked kitchen, and the best views on the lake. We enjoyed the bikes, kayaks, hammocks, hot tub, bonfire, walks, the Garden and of course, the pastry shop. A great escape at one entrance to the North Cascades. A welcome refuge...

5 nights in Lake Cabin # 1 - absolutely one of the most beautiful and tranquil places we've ever had the pleasure of staying. What a treat to wake up to 270 degrees of gorgeous mountain views every morning. This was our second leg of a 2-week hiking vacation in the North Cascades but we were so blown away by...

After reading the previous review, the reader will already have learned that the Silver Bay Inn & Resort is a great place for a couple to visit. For a different perspective...my family; myself, my wife, and two boys have vacationed here during the summer for much of their childhood. For much of the year all of us, we looked forward...

My wife Melanie and and I, and a another couple (good friends) booked the Lake Cabin for a two day stay in late September. We were upgraded to the Lake House.for no extra charge. This looks out on the lake through a great sitting porch and we could watch the two bald eagles thought the furnished binoculars. The place was...

It was my turn to plan our anniversary trip this year and I chose the Silver Bay Resort. We rented a cabin all to ourselves and spent four peaceful relaxing days canoeing, kayaking, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The cabin was very clean and quaint. We had coffee and pastries from the bakery every morning. Cathy, our caretaker and her...

Silver Bay was a wonderful experience. It is the best location to stay in Stehekin. Close enough to bike to the Landing for diner and close enough to walk to the bakery. The shuttle bus stops at the end of the driveway so you can get a ride to the ranch or up valley. We stayed in the Lake Cabin...

Silver Bay Inn is a gem of a location on a point of land with water on 3 sides. The ever present sound of water from a nearby incoming stream is very calming. There are fabulous mountain views. The park like grounds have several areas for outdoor cooking, eating, and relaxing. The location is very quiet and private. If you...

My husband and i were looking to spend our summer vacation somewhere in the NW we hadn't been before. We couldn't have asked for a nicer stay in Stehekin. We spent a few days in Seattle before driving to Chelan to board the ferry into Stehekin. I wasn't sure what to expect at such a remote location, but it was...

Rustic cabins at the north end of Lake Chelan. Free access to bikes and kayaks is a nice touch. The firepit is also great to gather round in the evening. It's a bit pricey, but if you're spending a few days you'll like the coziness of the place. If you like bracing temperatures, you can swim in the lake right...
