Katherina went out of her way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. She even greeted us with homemade desserts as we got in late. The next morning we went fishing at 4:30AM and she even got up to make us a fresh egg sandwich and coffee. I highly recommend staying here if your in the area. True...

The Twin Gables is a very pleasant and comfortable B&B along the Columbia River. Owner Kathleen Morgain gave us excellent breakfasts the three days we spent there. Though the bedroom we had was small, it was efficient and very comfortable.

We stayed one night in the little cottage and we're very pleased with how clean and cozy it was. We wanted to stay longer but other adventures awaited. Kathleen was very sweet and easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful visit. We were greeted in the "Vacation Apartment" with freshly ground coffee beans, and a plate of scrumptious macaroons! Clean, well furnished accommodations. Kathleen and Steve are very friendly and truly gracious hosts!

We had a great time visiting Twin Gables in Skamokawa. Kathleen is a perfect host, and a wonderful breakfast cook! Homed brownies in the room and coffee served to our door were lovely treats. My husband couldn't get enough of the hummingbirds. We would have loved two nights, but only had time for one. Next time we will bring our...

The first time I stayed here, was with my best girl friend, with our Standard Poodles who were competing at an event on Puget Island in October 2015. Total Girl's weekend. This time it was with my husband accompanied by our 3 Standard Poodles. We were back for another event on Puget Island. I had promised him he would love...

We go to Astoria OR every year and usually drive along the Columbia river on the OR side. This time we tried the WA side and are very glad we did! It's a lovely area, with the river on one side and a wildlife refuge on the other. We stayed in the apartment attached to the B & B, and...

This B&B is an absolute jewel! The room was delightful, overlooking the creek. The baked goodies that were waiting in our room were yummy and fresh. Breakfast was out of this world! The fruit bowl was colorful, fresh, and tasted so good! The breakfast plate was arranged beautifully with potato pancakes, an omelette, homemade applesauce, and a sausage link. My...

My friends and I absolutely loved staying at the Twin Gables Skamokawa Apt. The apartment was clean, cozy, and welcoming. Kathleen was so accommodating, friendly, and attentive. Even delivered cards to us upon request. All three of us had the best sleep in a while which we attribute to the more than comfortable beds especially the queen sleep sofa. We...

Great stay in the apartment next to the B&B. Kathleen, our hostess, prepared a scrumptious supper upon our arrival on Friday night. Smoked salmon fettuccine Alfredo, green salad, and fresh baked foccacia bread. Plus she had chocolate cookies waiting for us in our room. We stayed two nights and couldn't have been a better place for us and our two...
