We have only missed visiting the Olympic Peninsula in June one time in the last 12 years. For our last 10 visits we have stayed at The Dungeness Bay Cottages and have day tripped to all the great sites including the Olympic Mountains, the Pacific coastal beaches, and Victoria (Canada). The Dungeness Bay Cottages are located out of the main...

Over the last twenty years I have made it a point to stay at the Dungeness Bay Cottages whenever I am in the Puget Sound area. Year round, this is a picturesque setting for ocean, wildlife and breath-taking nature. The cottages are cozy, charming and the proprietors, Karin and John, are super accommodating and welcoming. We consider this place our...

We have been coming here at least once a year for over ten years. It is the best place to chill in Sequim. It is so quiet you can here the whooshing sound of the eagles as they fly by. Can't say enough about the views. Hope to get back again this year!

We've had the pleasure of staying here several times - in spring and in late summer - over the past few years. Only a 5 min drive to the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge and a 10 min drive to Sequim, these cottages are located on a bluff overlooking Dungeness Bay. They have great views of both the Olympic mountains from...

We have stayed here at least 3 times. This place is not fancy at all, but the location is absolutely beautiful. The units where we have stayed are very cozy, but we like to cook, and the kitchenettes are very well equipped. The owners have always treated us well.

Nice location on the strait, very pretty sunsets. Quiet location and nice property with picnic tables and hummingbirds and deer outside. Photos of the rooms are pretty much exactly how they look. Nothing fancy but very functional. Rooms are not huge, but everything you want is there. Kitchen has everything you need and clean dishware. Bathroom is small but so...

Once familiar, yet elevated, a stay at the Dungeness Bay Cottages transports one in time. Tasteful, timeless comfort. Ozzie and Harriet probably vacationed here. Simultaneous sweeping views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. Innkeepers extraordinaire Karin and John are the perfect hosts. Don't miss it!

Buyer beware! After returning from our visit, the owner called informing us that we would be charged for new sheets. He claimed we spilled wine in the bed! Yes we drank wine but not in bed. $60 dollars extra added to our bill.

We had a conversation with the guest as a courtesy before this billing to inform them that red wine on chair cushion had cleaned up successfully but the red wine on linens had not and they will have to be replaced. He asked the replacement cost and said he was ok with that.

This was a one bedroom studio cottage on overlooked Dungeness Bay. It was around an hour's drive to Port Townsend (well worth visiting) and around 30 minutes to the entrance to Olympic National Park (for Hurricane Ridge). The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but it was OK for normal-sized people. Pleased to find quality crockery...

My husband and I spent a two nights at the Dungeness Bay Cottages so that we could run a nearby half marathon. The units are located on a quiet street with gorgeous views of the Straight of Juan de Fuca and the Dungeness Spit. The units are quiet and very well appointed with a comfortable bed, dining table, comfy chairs,...
