One of the least pricey places we stayed on our 10-day trip to the Seattle area, and you get what you pay for. Room was very modest, with no fridge in the room (there is one outside, that must be 50 years old easily, with a rusty door and creaky handle), and just a shower (and a very small one...

We stayed 2 nights here. Pros - clean, very quiet, cutlery and crockery provided, comfy bed m'wave, TV. Owner washes up any dirty dishes you may have if you put them in her bowls, m'wave in some rooms and one also in a detached hut. One shared fridge for all 8 rooms - OK as we were the only ones...

We had a mix up in our reservations (owners fault) and he helped us get a room here. Lovely place with a wonderful owner, Sonia. The motel is small but so clean and comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. There is no ac but the cool nights with windows open and a fan in the room made it very...

I almost always take photos of the rooms where we stay and I didn't this time; that maybe says something about my reaction to the place. It was . . . fine. I had checked reviews on tripadvisor beforehand so I'm just going to expand upon those and/or add a few fresh new details. First thing you need to know:...

A breath of fresh air right out of the 50's style of motor lodgings. Small little appointments that make your stay more enjoyable. ie. real glasses, including wine glasses that have the special touch of a napkin in each one. A motel that is clean and well cared for.

There's something about motels. It's not a resort; you don't go to a motel with that expectation - if you do, then you shouldn't go to a motel. No, you go to a motel because you want something simple, basic, but quality. And that's what we found at Totem Trail. I've stayed in a lot of motels in my life;...

As we went there last year as a family the national park was experiencing wildfires and we thought the park may not have been worth the stay. But when we checked in the lady that settled us in was extremely kind and gave us a list of things we could still enjoy! Plus our hotel quite cozy and rustic. There...

Totem Trail Motel may look like an older motel and it may be, but wow what an amazing stay! The owner is so kind, friendly and helpful with travel tips and the rooms are spotless. It is very quiet, in a lovely wooded area and was perfect for our roadtrip through the Cascades. No A/C but it is not needed...

This is the perfect spot to spend a quiet, comfortable evening after a day in the mountains! It's clean and safe. It's no frills and very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a peaceful setting, pleasant neighbors, and hosts that respect your privacy...this is the place! Enjoy!!
