We stayed at the Hilltop Inn in Pullman, Washington, for 1-night in early Oct ($108). As the name implies, the inn is perched atop a hill overlooking Hwy 270 just west of downtown Pullman. It is a large, older 3-storey building that has been well maintained. Not quite an easy walk to town (it is on a hill, after all),...

The Hilltop is on Route 270 as you head downhill into downtown Pullman. The hotel has about 145 rooms and is dog friendly. Breakfast is included, which is comprised of pancakes, cereal, fruit scrambled eggs, yogurt and cereal. It is fine. The hotel is used by teams competing at WSU, officials for those competitions, and parents. The hotel is big...

Very nice accommodations at this hotel which has been serving travelers since before we attended Washington State University in 1964-68. Upon our nostalgic return to tour the campus it remains a friendly place to stay. The room was clean, everything worked as it should and complimentary breakfast was very tasty!

I had some concerns when I researched where to stay during our 3 night in Pullman as some of the reviews for Hilltop were quiet negative. However, our stay could not have been better. The people of Hilltop were pleasant, friendly, helpful, and customer-service oriented. Check-in was quick and easy. Although we had arrived early afternoon, we were able to...

We have been traveling a good portion of the summer and we found this hotel to be a breath of fresh air. The folks at the front desk were friendly and polite. Great room with large area around the bathroom sink. The breakfast was ample and diverse. They even had a large full container of cut fruit (cantaloupe, honey dew,...

I can't say enough about how AMAZING everyone and everything was at the Hilltop in Pullman! From the friendly greetings to the speedy service to the delicious food to the amazing evening view from the patio, everything was top notch. I was shocked over and over by the willingness of the staff to meet the needs of nearly 100 friends...

I came into town from Canada for a funeral, and chose the Hilltop due to the pool (for my two boys) and memories from university days as it being a fun place to unwind. But I have to say, I left very disappointed, and surprised that the reviews were as high as they are. When I checked in, they were...

The room assigned upon arrival was not made up. This was corrected immediately with apologies by assigning us to a different room. The room was adequate, clean, and quiet, but showed wear and the furnishings should be updated. Breakfast was typical for this kind of mid-level accommodation but light on fruit. However, the view of Pullman across the valley is very...

Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave in the room for no extra charge. A decent breakfast was included with the stay. The pool water looked green, so we were not too excited to try the pool. Because of the hill it is located on, you will want to drive into town. I was...
