Marilou, thank you again for making our stay as pleasant as possible. Every detail was attended to from the soft music playing when we arrived to the great coffee. This little gem is something to be savored. We really needed to get away from it all and we did! the rain stayed away; the room was pleasant and we enjoyed...

Would agree with all the good reviews. We only stayed one night as we traveled throught the area, but enjoyed the location and had no issue with the lack of on-site staff. We were not there at real busy time, but there was still a lot of cars and foot traffic in the area. Many restaurants to choose from in...

Hello Thank you for your great review of the Washington Hotel. Having no lobby available for guests, it does run smoothly for everyone. The rooms are well appointed and having extra items available in each of the suites and kitchens make it easier for all of us. Please do make a reservation for 2015, stay longer! I stayed at this hotel Sept 19-21 which was during the film festival. First off the location is right next to 4 of the venues, couldn't ask for a better location. There was a moment before I arrived that caused me to be concerned. You enter with the code numbers that the manager sends prior to arrival. I emailed the...

It's hard to think of anything to add to the tons of glowing reviews for this place. Everything good you read is true. Specifically regarding room #3, it had been described as a studio, so when we opened the door to this very large room with queen-size bed, large chest of drawers, sitting area with two arm chairs, and enormous...

Hello, It is so rewarding to me to hear that you had a lovely stay at the hotel. I agree with you, #3 is quite large especially when you have expectations of staying in a studio room. This spring after fresh paint in the rooms, I moved the furniture around to give it even more space and added the two...

I did a lot of research for our first overnight visit to Port Townsend and ended up choosing this location to stay at. What a great choice. First, it's small. When I think of hotels, I think of check-in/out counters, lots of rooms, key cards, and people...lots and lots of people. This hotel is special. There are only 4 rooms....

Hello. Thank you for choosing the stay at the Washington Hotel for your celebration! I apologize about the Champagne and when you return, know that it will be sparkling cider! You stayed in my favorite room, it is very spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this room especially to young families with little ones and girlfriends who gather for a...

We booked 2 rooms at the Washington Hotel during our trip to Port Townsend. Both were lovely and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was excellent and the bedrooms retained their historic look but with modern comforts (mattresses, lighting, etc.). We loved the location, too--only a block from Water Street, which is filled with stores, restaurants, and lovely views, and across the...

Hello, It is always good to hear such wonderful comments concerning the hotel. The location is perfect being on the more quiet street and still only one block from all of the shops and restaurants. Many guests do enjoy walking out the front door to dinner or drinks prior to catching a movie, or going to the 4pm movie and...

We are currently staying in room 2. It has a spacious bedroom and sitting room with a love seat, refrigerator, and comfy chair. The bathroom is extra large and the 2 queen beds seem bigger than queens! The dresser is filled with coffee, mugs, and all the extras. When we arrived on Monday, there was a fan bringing in the...

Hello I want to Thank you for your awesome review of Suite #2. It is very large and open to accommodate up to five people, using the twin sleeper in the separate sitting room. Just a handful of businesses have air conditioning in Port Townsend, we find it is not necessary. We have maybe a week spread over the season...

We came as a group of friends, visiting Port Townsend for a college reunion, and stayed in Suite 4. This worked really well for us: There were three interconnecting rooms, two with double beds, one with a twin, and it felt as if we were back in our dorm rooms again, possibly because it was closer to a serviced apartment...

Hello Thank you for your review of the hotel. Yes, it was very obvious to us that you ladies were having a reunion of college life. I stayed here with my family. The location was great. We had Suite 2 and it worked out great for us. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was no view - just a few small windows - but there was a leafy tree in front of the main window so it was nice to see some...

This hotel has nice beds. The rooms are quite dark with small windows and are accessed only by a very narrow steep corridor. They work fine if you won't be spending time in your room. As I explained to you in emails, you did not follow through with a reservation after I quoted availability and cost. As an accommodation property manager, I cannot assume people who make an inquiry and even respond positively will actually make a reservation until a credit card, mailing address, email and phone number is provided. In this case, I confirmed...
