The Inn at Ship Bay was the highlight of our 2 week trip through the Pacific Northwest. Situated on an old orchard overlooking the water, with eagles nesting nearby, the rooms are relatively new and nothing elegant but very comfortable with stunning views. Each room has a deck where you can observe the eagles perching nearby and soaring overhead while...

Great place, wonderful staff, clean and beautiful scenery / surroundings. Restaurant is to die for. Only 4 stars because TV was broken - they tried, but couldn't fix it. (They should have offered a different room with working TV)

On arrival the manager advised us to drive to the top of the local mountain that afternoon as the forcast was not good for the next day, good advice! He also pointed out the local Bald eagle family that can, if you are luckly, be seen from the room...

Travel to Orcas about once a year and always stay at the Inn at Ship Bay. Cozy cabin-like rooms. The views of the water and the hills are spectacular. Specifically love the gas fireplace stoves, high beds, and friendly service. Very family style environment. Only about 8-10 rooms total I think, breakfast is served in the main restaurant dining room,...

If you go to Inn at Ship Bay, be sure to make a reservation at their restaurant. This might be one of the best meals I have ever had. The food is organic and from the local gardens they keep there. The wine list is amazing and they food will blow you away with how well it is cooked and...

We loved everything about the Inn at Ship Bay: gorgeous setting on the bluffs above Ship Bay; great location near town and Moran State Park; comfortable rooms with extremely cozy beds. We really enjoyed our 3-night stay here, in room 208 (second floor). Breakfast is basic but includes a hearty, delicious granola that we loved. We ate dinner one night...

We enjoyed out two-night stay at this inn. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were very nice. The bed was incredible. We had a hard time getting up in the morning. Clean linens, a gas fireplace, a wonderful view from the balcony.
