Ocean Shores is a combination of North Carolina's Corolla, Nag's Head, Kitty Hawk and Emerald Isle. There is excellent dining, kid's activities and miles of beaches. Jim and Rose Collins built the Collins Inn from scratch. They didn't skimp on any details. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, including fireplaces, jacuzzi's and shower surrounds in each room that...

My cousin and I enjoyed our two nights at the Collins Inn. The inn is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and luxurious, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the jetted tubs and the views from our rooms. I will cherish the memory of sitting on the balcony, watching the full moon rise across the water on a very warm...

My wife and I decided to take a short trip for an overnight stay at the Collins Inn. I travel for a living and stay in hotels, and we usually camp in a travel trailer for recreation, but this was my first experience staying at a bed and breakfast inn. And it was great! The building was designed as a...

My parents in law treated us to a night at this amazing little bed and breakfast. Our room was spectacular- just big enough to feel pampered, yet cozy enough to be intimate. The view was unbelievable- you could see the shore perfectly and watch the gulls play, and sit in the Jacuzzi and enjoy a peaceful, serene view. The bathroom...

This was a fabulous B&B in Ocean Shores. Wonderful views from every window. Quiet, elegant, charming. Extremely comfortable bed. Breakfasts very good. The best thing was the heaping plate of fresh fruit! The variety and freshness was very good. We both liked the breakfast wraps especially. Innkeepers were friendly and helpful. Loved the saltwater fish tank with the "live rock"...

The cottages are a great place to get away on the weekend. They are very attractive and pet friendly. They have plenty of towels, great coffee, and a full kitchen if you want to cook. You can enjoy the beach across the street, or you can just veg out in front of the fireplace on the squishy sofa and watch...

We were on an impromptu roadtrip through Washington state with absolutely no idea what was next. We found ourselves in Ocean Shores. What a gloomy treat! I say gloomy, as we never did see the sun shine. But that was really the charm of the place. On arrival we instantly started looking for a place to call home for a...

We decided to spend a single night at Ocean Shores with friends visiting from Las Vegas. The owner, Jim, greeted us in person in the charming Inn and personally showed us to our cottage. The interior of the inn was stunning so we knew we were in for a treat. The cottage had a good layout with luxurious finishes. The...

From the very beginning this the Collins Inn was very welcoming and beautiful. The check in process was easy and everything was as requested via the Inn's website. The room was well kept and beautifully put together. We were advised of some great local places to visit and eat. I had originally heard great things regarding the restaurant so, it...

Owners were very polite & helpful with any questions we had about the area. Fresh baked cookies awaited our arrival & she brought us milk to our room to go with them. Breakfast was huge, yummy & filling. Room was clean & very nice. Nice, quiet location away from the main roads but close enough to town. The house is...
