We stayed over the 4th of July and the area was great. The fireworks were wonderful and it wasn't a crazy bunch of people. Mostly adults and there was plenty of room to move about. Love the beach access and the neighborhood is quiet. The house is in dire need of repair, but the bathroom was clean and the bed...

What used to be rustic and quaint is now dilapidated and dirty. Do not stay at the Moonstone. It is awful and has not been maintained at all. The only thing to salvage are the managers, Patti and Jim. They are awesome .....but can only represent the owners. The beach walking and view is great but stay down the road....

This was our second stay at the Motel. We had a great time and it was very relaxing. Our room was very cozy and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We had everthing we needed. If I had to leave any cons I would say that more water pressure for the shower is needed (at least it was in...

Been staying at Moonstone for many years (30) and it is sad to see it in such bad shape. Super clean room but so much work needs to be done on the structure and inside and outside paint. We were afraid to step out of the shower as the floor was so rotten next to the shower. I had recommended...

We spent 3 nights here with our dog in March. This property is all about its' close proximity to the beach. It's clean. But frankly, we were shocked when we drove up. The rave reviews simply hadn't prepared us for the physical state of the buildings here. This property needs a LOT of TLC! There are soft spots in the...

Guess I'm not your typical tourist. As a spiritual healing practitioner, was looking for some spiritual quiet time with the ocean. I camp part of the time, but with age and limiting abilities, need some inside time, and with the home atmosphere and home type furniture, it was perfect. I already had all my organic, non-GMO foods with me, so...

I have been staying at the Moonstone for over 30 years and the Moonstone Beach Motel and Moclips are my favorite places to stay at the ocean. The Motel is about 60 years old so it is not cookie cutter and like me is showing its age. It is a place to relax and be at home right on the...

The Moonstone Beach Motel is low cost, comfortable, clean, and quiet. A bit run down, but only seconds from the beach. For my dog and I it's all about the beach and the awesome Razor Clamming, and the largest swimming pool on planet earth. The management is TOPS!.......... Thank You Jim and Patti. Brucethewoodman

I have stayed at the Moonstone Beach Motel at least two weeks of every year since I was a toddler to early adulthood, and every time I've visited as an adult since. The current managers are fantastic. The room was well stocked, clean, and the beds were comfy. I have no complaints at all. Restaurant choices are a bit slim,...

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Moonstone. I am drawn to the beach, also we were digging clams. The motel is quite old and ran down, but the view in Unit 7 was spectacular and the short walk to the clams was wonderful. The unit was clean and the bed was comfortable.
