We were tempted to rate this POOR but will rate it overall AVERAGE based on terrific location; if you want to explore the Washington Pass area, this is still a good option when weighed against the limited alternatives costing far more money and/or time driving. The bad: we knew it was going to be on the rustic side (no TV,...

Wow! Well at least you liked our location! We are sorry that you did not have an excellent time at the Inn! People find that are many good options for meals in the Methow area. In the summer we serve dinner Thursday through Sunday, and breakfast every day, and we serve a Continental Breakfast (gratis and very popular!) if the...

This is not 5 star fancy it is 5 star comfortable, peaceful, and friendly. It puts you in the middle of Mazama and close to North Cascades National Park. The nearby country store and Goatsbeard outdoor clothing are also fantastic..

We were in the Birch Room (room 10) at the Inn. This room has a loft bedroom. We were only staying the one night and unfortunately we arrived later than we originally anticipated. We were planning on spending the next day at North Cascades National Park so we were looking for a close place to stay. This definitely hit the...

We enjoyed our stay here and I am hesitant to be critical as on the whole we really enjoyed it. We had a room on the main floor of the lodge and the soundproofing between rooms is not good. My guess is that you are better booking one of the rooms in the separate buildings. The food in the restaurant...

We spent two nights in this terrific "country inn" as our home base for three days and two nights exploring this part of Washington. The staff was gracious and made the late check-in process a breeze. The breakfasts and dinners were both filling and creative, and the waitstaff was very attentive. The grounds seem very well kept-up, including the common...

Quiet, peaceful, idyllic setting. Miles away from the nearest town. The Mazama Country Inn is attractively nestled within the Methow Valley and is close to several pleasant hikes and the scenic Washington Pass Overlook. Good facilities: swimming pool, a fully equipped gym with exercise machines and a squash court. We did not miss the absence of TV and telephone in...

Lovely place tucked in the woods, nice location however there is one structural flaw and one management flaw. Structural issues- we stayed in a room on the lower level. The sound coming from upstairs was loud and intrusive. We could hear toilets flush, water running and people stomping and walking. Sound insulation was very poor. Management issues- when you check...

Breakfast is served from 7 to 11:30 am in the Summer, and unfortunately it sounds as if you showed up 4 minutes before the kitchen and dining room closed. We hope that you were able to use the 10% off deal on another day. People usually find our breakfasts delicious! We are sorry that you heard noise from the floor...

This was a perfect place for a quiet getaway. Comfortable bed, spacious bath, chairs on the porch for enjoying the grass and trees, no TV to distract from the peacefulness of the area. There is a TV in the lodge; a hot tub on the premises; a pool next door....and more. Highly recommend if rustic is what you're seeking,

The Mazama Country Inn is charming and comfortable. the setting is gorgeous. The rooms were not as rustic as I was anticipating. They were charming with nooks for reading and private balconies off the cabins. I was reading on the balcony and a deer walked past. My daughters enjoyed the outdoor hot tub on a cool evening. It is very...

Set back from highway 20, we felt like we went back in time. The decor is rustic but there are modern conviences (free wifi!) I live the nooks and rooms you could curl up with a good book. The rooms are small and the bed we had in the second story loft room was adequate. The room was chilly because...

We are so sorry that you did not have a stellar experience in our restaurant. I have called this to the attention of the cooks.
