Stayed at this Inn at the end of my day of the North Cascades Highway Scenic Drive. An Inn with character and very good service. Didn't expect such a big room for two people with a big balcony facing a lake right in front of the balcony!!! It is a must to have a walk around the lake in the...

I cannot express enough how wonderful this place is. We stayed in a cabin right next to a roaring creek and left the window open all night to that beautiful sound that made us both sleep sooooo great! The cabins are dog friendly and our canine babies LOVED the walks around the grounds which are beautiful, the lake next to...

This is a charming location away from the kitsch of Winthrop. They have cabins of various accommodation sizes and rooms in the lodge. I can't comment on the lodge accommodations as we were in a cabin as we were traveling with our dog( they're not allowed in the lodge) Our small cabin was OK, but lacked lighting and comfortable seating....

Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear that your dining experience was less than you expected, although all of our cocktails are hand crafted, using fresh squeezed fruits which can be a bit more time consuming to construct, our standards are that the drinks still need to get to the table in a timely manner. I do...

We recently stayed at Freestone in one of their cabins. The staff was helpful and friendly and the cabin was just fine. The only slight negative was that their was not enough lighting. The staff did bring over another floor lamp and that did the trick. Also of note is that my wife left her Bluetooth headphones behind and they...

The Freestone Inn should be a stop for everyone visiting the Cascades. The lodge was very impressive, as a log lodge. Beautiful!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar and dining room staff was also very cordial. The prawn gnocchi was outstanding!! The room in the lodge was very clean and comfortable, and had its own fireplace. Very...

I believe this was our 9th stay here and most enjoyable of them all. We love the cabins along the river, #2 or#3 being the most private and away from the road yet right on the river. The cabins have Romance built into them with large comfy beds, gas fireplace and rustic setting. If you like more formal hotel type...

Stayed in one bedroom cabin. Worked quite well for our hiking basecamp. Nice touch having a mudroom before entering the house. Kitchen outfitted with all you'll need ... the fridge is rather small and you'll have to hoof it back to the lodge to get ice. Perfect for a couple. Be sure to walk the loop at night and gaze...

The Freestone Inn is a great spot to have a mini vacation. The Inn has a special character, personable staff and wonderful food. The drive over the north cascade highway is a real treat and the Freestone Inn completes the drive with a perfect destination. Don't miss the Mazama store!

Nestled at the foot of Sandy Butte, rimmed by a singing Early Winters Creek, and surrounded by the majestic North Cascades all the Freestone Inn really has to do is show up to be a winner. I mean it! The natural setting is so spectacular it's easy to miss the fact that there is a hard working staff making sure...
