Charming, clean, impeccably decorated, tastefully furnished, gracious staff, can't say enough about this refurbished hotel. Courtyard a great quiet spot to relax with a glass of wine. Totally loved our stay & would definitely return. What a gem.

We stayed for my 50th Birthday, and were treated exceptionally well. There was a problem with our window, and it was fixed immediately. Nice location right in the heart of La Conner, overlooking the street was a very interesting view! Well equipped room for an old hotel, lots of history. We would highly recommend staying here, as long as a...

We come to La Conner two or three times a year to enjoy this beautiful little town and its surroundings. We usually stay outside of town, but this time we decided to try the Hotel Planter, which is right on main street La Conner. Other reviewers have provided adequate descriptions of the nature of an historic inn, so I will...

This is a classic vintage hotel of 12 rooms occupying the second floor overlooking the main street of La Conner at its south end. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. The rooms are cozy but are likely bigger than they were in the hotel's original configuration years ago as a 22-unit rooming house with shared bathrooms....

Web booked here because of a living social deal. We have been to La Conner before and love the quaintness of the town. The location of the Hotel is great - right on the Main Street on the waterfront. It was a little noisy since we had our windows open at night and our room faced the street. Also the...

Hotel Planter is a unique, historic hotel. The interior has been remodeled and the décor is an excellent period recreation. The rooms are on the small side. This is after the remodel which enlarged them. The rooms are very clean; the hotel is quiet; the location is perfect. Our bed was quite comfy and we have an excellent bed at...

Stayed at the Planter for a weekend during tulip season. It was very central in the town, clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The fresh cookies and coffee at reception in the evening were a nice surprise. Bathroom a bit dated but it's an old building so we were happy enough just to have a bathroom! Hallway walking...

We stayed here with a Living Socail deal that got us a room for $79 a night plus tax. We were able to peek into several of the 12 rooms, all on the second floor. Most of the rooms are small but very nice and have private bathrooms with a shower. Most rooms look out over the Main Street and...

Went to La Conner for the Tulip Festival. This historic hotel is situated above shops and is accessed by stairs (no elevator). My room was small but well kempt, clean and had a private bath with a shower. There is coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby. There's no breakfast, however, there's a wonderful café across the street...
