We stayed in Melanie's Room on the top floor. The views were breathtaking. We really enjoyed reading and falling to sleep by the sounds of the waterfall. We also enjoyed our leisurely walk around the property, enjoying the sheep, horse, lama and rabbits. We sat outside in Adirondack chairs and read out books. We had several choices for breakfast and...

Located at the end of gravel roads, there is a hobby farm with sundry animals scattered around. A waterfall drops outside the main house. The room pleasant with good space, comfortable and offering views of Mount Hood. Nothing to dislike at all. Everything of a good standard and seems to attract good people.

My wife and I booked here to watch the Perseid meteor showers. It was almost a new moon and the view from this remote location was amazing! We saw over 50 that night. The B&B is about 30 minutes north of Hood River which really helped with the night sky. We were on a motorcycle and on the ride up,...

It was our first time staying at a B&B and honestly we were nervous. We loved the isolated peaceful setting and our room was gorgeous. The host made great breakfasts and decorated the home beautifully. After this lovely experience we are certainly going to stay at a B&B again, and would not hesitate to stay here.

We chose this B&B for much-needed rest & relaxation, but got neither. The house & grounds are lovely, but impossible to enjoy due to the creepy, invasive, COMPLETELY inhospitable host, Jerry (?) This older guy host never introduced himself when I arrived at 5:30PM, & proceeded to mow the lawn @ 6PM in 104 degree heat. Despite his assurances, the...

We booked this B&B when I couldn't find lodging in Hood River. It is quite the haul from Hood River and the last 2 miles are on a dirt road so be prepared. The room we had was clean and well kept. It was BEYOND hot at night though. When we asked about turning the AC up or a fan...

We are on the side Mt. Adams a Quite retreat.about 15 min. from town, this couple was very nice and went to the same church as we do, with a lot in common. they did ask for a fan which I said I could get them and that they could also open the windows since it was cooler out side,...

The rooms are nice and the grounds looked beautiful. But weren't able to enjoy them. We checked in and went upstairs.Even with the AC the room was hot. It was 104 degrees that day. We were trying to cool down and we're watching a movie. I opened the windows and put on the fan. The older gentleman who let us...

Odd Stuff checked in around 4:30pm and we had a nice talk about our NAVY days, he then filled out our registration slip and I asked him if there was any allergy's or things that he did not like for Breakfast and if he wanted coffee or tea, we then went up to the room and and he settled in,...

We had an amazing time here. We stayed for several nights, and were sad to leave! Jerry and Carol were great hosts. They were so hospitable and generous, and the breakfasts each morning were delicious. We'd never been to the Gorge before, and they helped us put together an itinerary. The property was beautiful with amazing views of Mount Hood...

We stayed mid-week and perhaps it was not the best time. We were the only guests. The hosts were occupied with preparing for an up-coming wedding. The hot tub was not operating. It would be a lovely setting for an intimate wedding. The home is beautiful and the grounds well attended with a lovely view of the valley and Mt....

We got married at Husum Highlands in August of this year and could not be happier with Carol, Jerry, and their wedding coordinator, Bobbi. We found this place on a whim just after we got engaged in January 2013 and went up for a tour. Even though it was still snowy and icy during that time, my wife and I...
