The Deer Harbor Inn is a unique place to stay. We stayed for two nights, in one of the Log Cabin Lodge rooms, but never saw the people who run/own the place. When you arrive (between 4PM-9PM) all you do is go into the office...More
Beautiful location walking distance from Deer Harbor and preserved nature area. Charming and rustic, the lodge where we stayed really captured that classic Pacific Northwest spirit, which I love. Amenities are basic but there was a hair dryer and mini fridge in the room, as...More
My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Deer Harbor Inn. We took advantage of the Travel Zoo offer and saved a ton of money by doing so. We stayed in Lodge room #2 which is on the ground floor of...More

The above answers seem to tell it all. Our cell phones did not work in that area of the island. We did not even try the WiFi as we were there to get away from it all. The TV was small and we never turned it on. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, as it was only open in the evenings. We would spend the day in other parts of the island, and had always eaten by the time we came back to the lodge. Breakfast consisted of some yogurt, some breakfast bars, and some coffee that can hold you over until you can go out to seek breakfast. This is a great get-away spot, not a resort.
