This is the closest and only motel at the gateway to Mount St. Helens. Just off the Interstate, it's far away enough so passing traffic can't be heard. The room was clean and comfortable. Places to eat were nearby (adjacent to Burger King). Check-in & out was easy. "Courtyard" parking area is tight but manageable; not a problem on the...

We arrived late the evening before planning to visit Mt. St. Helens. We found comfortable, adequate lodging. Not fancy, not objectionable in any way. Unfortunate combination of dark green carpet (newer) with mauve and blue bedspreads - but not a comfort factor. Our room had refrig and microwave, good shower. Breakfast was very much "continental" - sweet rolls and toast,...

We have stayed at Timberland Inn many times over the last few years. We generally stay for several days to a week. The rooms are clean, the wifi is fast and the owners are very accommodating to us. The Lady [ owner ] who checks us in is the kindest of any of the places we stay in all over...

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I didn't notice the smell others have commented on and I am very sensitive to smells. WiFi was free and incredibly fast, so I was able to get some much needed work done. The staff was friendly and helpful and accommodated our needs. My family and I will definitely stay here again next...

The room stinks. Filthy old carpet. Light in bathroom is so dim you almost need a flashlight and when you look up to find the issue you notice the light cover is filled with dead bugs. Old bed spread. No extra pillows. It's cheap. $59 per night. Wasn't worth it.

My husband and I came down from Mt. St. Helens after enjoying a very full day and the sunset. We were so pleased to find this perfect motel at the bottom of the road next to I-5. We didn't want to go further. I was amazed at the comfort and quality of our queen bed. Our room was on the...

Good news, the building has new carpet, the bad news, it has new carpet smell. NOW BEFORE YOU SAY 'Big Deal' consider both the wife and I have never before had any issue with new carpet odor, and we have even installed and seamed carpet together several times. Assuming this odor was new carpet smell, it was nessasary to keep...

Spent 1 night here for Mt St Helens. Room basically ok apart from the smell as you walked in. Don't know what caused it but very off putting. Apart from that room clean with fridge and microwave. Wouldn't bother with breakfast there , much better options at McDonald's over the road

We were going to visit Mount St Helens so stayed here for one night. We'd seen mixed reviews but seemed ok. The lady in reception was really friendly. We had a room facing away from the main road so it was nice and quiet. We had coffee makings in the room so we were happy. The room was a decent...

Stayed here for 1 night after visiting Mt St Helens. Convenient for our trip although fairly expensive for a motel. On arrival first impressions were good and appeared to be modern and clean.... but the smell in the room was both odd (unidentifiable) and unpleasant. It was a non smoking room but didn't have that cleaned stale tobacco smell we...
